Me too never got into the wire, even though people have said that it is similar I have never got into it

Currently working my way through season 4, brilliant stuff. The politics/conflicts/corruption/backstabbing etc is starting to get tedious though

Anyone catch the Season 7 opener on Five USA last night? My gf was just flicking around, and managed to find it just as it started.

Anyway, without revealing any spoilers, it was great. Thank God its back. Mondays at 10pm for the final season.

No spoliers, but I thought what was happening at the end of the episode was one of the most dramatic peices of viewing I can remember.

Was that the end of season 7? I nearly, nearly stopped watching the shield but the ending was probably the best piece of TV I've ever seen.

Don't think it was the last of the series, still lots of stuff that needs wrapping up, seen as this is the last series.

I wasn't happy with the way it ended tbh. But if this is the last ever series, then I guess it was really the only way it could have ended.

wow. I thought last night was supposed to be the last episode, and what an episode! Didn't see that coming either, well until Shane called the family meeting, i.e. last minute. I wonder what they're lining up for Dutch boy.

Can't wait to see how it turns out for Mackey, I've been steering well clear of any review sites, so I don't know what happens to him. Will he walk away clear, just walk away, or snuff it in the last few minutes? And how's about Ronnie? Both going down in one last blaze of glory?

Roll on next Monday.
