The Show Us Your Helmet Thread

My first Shoei, back when it was new. Got knocked off in this one & replaced by insurance, but still have the same model & visor :). Nice and quiet with the neck curtain and the silent kit.

Shark Speed-R

A bit flashy for my taste but was going cheap from megamotorcyclestore.co.uk and wanted to replace my HJC.

Shark S900 Creed

I was sceptical of Shark, but i tried a few on and they fit very nicely and are of much better general build quality than i thought.

Do you still have that helmet, if so, how is it doing?

Shark is the only brand that fits my head well and doesn't heart me whilst taking the helmet off my head... I tried S700-S.

How is it doing? I'm thinking of buying this helmet...

Just ordered myself a new shoei helmet and a dark smoke visor, they gave me a free pair of Kevlar jeans worth £120 too :) will post pictures when it arrives!

Helmet city by any chance?
Bought my shoei from there last month and loving it.
My dad got a rather nice Father's Day present with the jeans too.

Yeah, still got it, still does it's job nicely. My only niggles about it would be:
1. Flip down visor is a bit rubbish, could be darker but is better than getting blinded. You'll find a lot of built-in visors are the same though.

2. It's not great where wind noise is concerned.

Its a nice helmet comfy and good airflow. Visor fogs up a bit when stationary however if not using a pinlock. I also fitted a breath guard and its not a problem any more.

That's a nice lid. I ride past someone on my way to work who wears that, reminds me of the specials.

This is mine (excuse the huge images):
