Yup, it's the reason why i got an iMac with a GT200 instead of the 9400M. I expect it shift some work to the GFX for photoshop :) .. hopefully

Yes there have.

The one and only reason why I am so excited about this release is exchange integration with Mail. I can finally get rid of Entourage \o/

This, along with Cocoa Finder!

You'd be mad not to upgrade for £20 quid.

From panther to tigar there was a big difference, huge improvements.

I can do everything I want on my girlfriends g4 than I can do on my mac book. The performance shouldn't change that much, not any other programs included that I couldn't get from open source and 2 years is still not long enough for an OS to run.

£20 is nothing but I could by lesbian vampire killers on blu-ray and get more enjoyment out of that for the same price.

Is that price an upgrade from Leopard? I'm still on tiger and have been contemplating an upgrade once pay day arrives, reckon it's worth waiting for snow leopard?

Thanks. Not too bad I suppose.

Would I have to have 10.5 installed or can I do a fresh 10.6 install?

Never used an upgrade DVD on a Mac, so I'm not sure. I would imagine it would check for Leopard first. But then it might give you the option to a fresh install.

Yup, only the price for Leopard. Need to buy a full retail copy for $129 (I think) or you can buy Snow Leopard, iLife and iWorks in one box for $169. Don't know what the UK prices will be though.

Ordered my copy via the Uptodate program so it should arrive on release :)

The DVD will give you the choice of an archive & install, clean install or upgrade I expect.
