I'm seriously looking forward to Snow Leopard. More than I did for Leopard even though Snow Leopard has less new bells and whistles.

10.5.0 was fine for me. Apple first release hardware is a different issues.

No, it's the same thing. It's just that the cheaper one is for people who bought a Mac with Leopard after Snow Leopard was announced back at WWDC.

if you get the upgrade version you need to have Leopard installed first so that Snow Installation can detect it. You then you can either upgrade Leopard to Snow or do a Fresh Install.

Is this verified in any way or just guess work?

I am confused about this "upgrade" version. Will there be 1 or 2 versions available to buy in shops/online (a "full" and an "upgrade").

What happened when Leopard was released, for Tiger users (1 edition or 2?).
