@Trig dont worry about getting any of the add-on course. just get the base game.
you can use sticks with walkabout there are various presets for manufacturers.
if you might be thinking of joining us, between us we have all the courses and only the host needs to have purchased the course for others to enjoy if playing multiplayer.

if you have Meta Quest+ it should be one of the games on offer/part of subscription and give you access to all the DLCs as i remember
 
Ah, Shi, you know I am only joking. You know the Social gaming night just wouldn't be the same without you!!

You should come in anyway and play blind. You could probably still beat Ravenger and Joeboi no problem. :p
 
a lot ofthe names are the same in walkabout or similar.
the way walkabout works, is you join a room, instead of inviting people by name.
so we have a set time we meet up mondays at 8pm, with in 3-5mins we'll kick of a game.
the room name is always the same except for last night were we had an issue and joined a differant name. but next monday we'll be back to the original named room.
some of the peeps are on PCVR and some are on quest's as example

people have the option of joining later and doing a "catch up" or "play through turn order" or something to that effect. JoeBoi as example might join 20mins late while we're playing and we set him to use the "catch up" option to quickly get to us.
typical game goes from 1hr 30 to 2+hrs depending on people. every extraperson adds 20mins to the game, each game is max 8 people
most people will want to finish no later than 10pm, early start / work / eat ect
if the peeps are up for it they may kick off a Race mode option which last night lasted no more than 7mins with me being slowest.

i was hoping Ravenger was going to win it, he did really well this week ! Ah that's kind of you. Would be a miracle if I beat Rigga. Just coming second would have been good, but I totally lost it on the last few holes. Did play very well up until that point though.

i forgot to add, you willw ant a powerbank or to plug your headset in to power if playing as the head set will likely run out of power before you finish. had tha happen a few times. i now have a nice 3m usb-c cable i use to plug in and play saves a lot of hassels for game night

We nearly always meet in walkabout. Though I suppose if it gets much busier, we may need to find another way, since that has a limit of 8.

Corpse told you everything you need to know, except the name of the room :D.

Simple enough to remember and type in, and we've never had a random join, so it works on that front too. More than welcome to join us. I think it's just myself and joeboi with different names, I'm RugbyRaggs and JoeBoi is Pleyor.
