The Social Gathering / Gaming Thread [A place to organize meet-ups]

As usual I'm fasting today, but I also need to be up early tomorrow, so now I'm 2 hours ahead, I'm afraid I'm not willing to subject myself to the hunger and lack of sleep this week.

Might be able to make Thursday, hopefully be able to do next Monday.

He'd get the spoon and the crown, can't have that ;)

Although we might come into the forum tomorrow to find Shi stuck in some existential crisis wondering what to do with his life after been the ultimate winner but also the ultimate loser. Might blow his mind.

So it's probably safest all round if you 3 guys absolutely trash him in mini golf and keep him at loser status. Keep him down there looking up at the light, where he will always have that hope(extremely faint) of one day getting good.

:p

Actually I am not sure what I am laughing at. I am further down than Shi, giving out to him for blocking all the light!! :D

Great couple of games, first we played Eldorado on hard. Cookie had a blinding start and looked good until the 15th (i think) when the melmacs hit ;) Our resident bot who had started unusually poorly or had had a good weekend came good and clinched victory! (think he won by quite a bit but that's less dramatic ;) ).
Shi collected the spoon in a closely fought battle with Ravenger, Rav being so disillusioned with not getting the spoon demanded we play a quick easy (he actually said "anyone fancy a quick easy" ;) )
This time we played journey to the centre and Riggs set out to decimate the playing field. Rav, Shi and Cookie weren't having any of it until about hole 3 ;) and he look unassailable until the 15th when Cookie got a slightly fluky hole in one. Another on the 18th still wasn't enough and Riggs scooped the win 2 holes clear. Rav was joyous in the knowledge that he'd retrieved the spoon from Shi and ran from chat quick smartish ;) :D

Sorry this isn't up to your level of story telling (opps i mean reporting) @melmac and we missed you :)

That's an awesome game summary, better than any of my reports!! And a very enjoyable read :) Thanks Mr.Cookie.

haha "the Melmacs" They are a pain aren't they? I used to get them around hole 16/17, now I get them as soon as I start!!

Riggs won again!! Dude is unstoppable. We are going to have to plant a virus or blow up the mainframe or something. :p Still it's better that we have the AI interested in Walkabout rather than off skynetting the end of the all mankind. :D

Congrats Shi and Rav on the wooden spoon battles. One each, at least you guys have something to show for your night. Unlike Mr.Cookie who finished in Mid table obscurity again!!
