lol @ Freefaller on post one :D

Whilst in reality i dont care where we eat, i'm going to have a think and make a preference - else that front post will be a long list of "obstaining from vote" :)

It's a toss up between Old Orleans (I *love* these sort of joints) besides they have cocktails! :o

and Hons Place.

I think Hons Place would be better from a social point of view as it has more space a bigger tables for everyone to chat etc... and Chinese food is very yummy too.

Decisions decisions.

Not too keen on Nandos (not from a food point of view - it's pretty good) it's just it's a bit samey and have been there recently.

So there you go - I haven't helped at all :D

Think they also do jugs of cocktails as well from memory so plenty to go around. If people prefer beer in jugs Frankie and Bennys next door do that as well.

I'm voting for Old Orleans because i'm not too keen on Chinese food so at least there i know i will have stuff i can eat.

They do do loads of cocktails and you can go and order drinks directly from the bar so we won't have to worry about a drinks tab, only food.

Which reminds me, I need a volunteer for the only thing I don't want to have to organise. Its a pain in the butt and needs some authority so maybe Will Gill Feek or Freefaller will step up? I hate sorting out the food tab, its always a bone of contention and someone starts acting up who didn't have pudding or picked a cheap main course. Its OK if we want to do a straight split 20ish ways but it never seems to work out like that.

I'm sure there won't be an issue but all the same, whos going to look after this for me?

On a lighter note I remember they do this cocktail :)

Flaming Lamborghini
Ingredients:

* 1 oz Kahlua
* 1 oz Sambuca
* 1 oz Blue Curacao
* 1 oz Bailey's irish cream

Mixing instructions:

Pour the Sambuca and Kahlua into the Cocktail Glass and give the drinker a straw. Pour the Baileys and Blue Curacao into two sepsrate shot glasses either side of the cocktail glass. Set light the concotion in the cocktail glass and start to drink through the straw (this drink should be drunk in one) , as the bottom of the glass is reached put out the fire by pouring the Baileys and Blue Curacao into the cocktail glass and keep drinking till it's all gone!!

:eek:
