I guess I'm in the Misc lane then, although I might try to sneak into the Beginners lane. :p

I'd be up for that but I fear I will be too much the worse for wear before we start to provide a decent comparison

Well... I've got a double bed booked at the pub. ;)

Pick up, put down, I'll do anything you'd like me to. Err in a driving you from Nottingham to Maidstone sense I mean obviously.

(thread derailment imminent!)

You can knock that on the head now!

We had to have the thread shaved last time it went OT ;)

Anymore for anymore? :)

Do we have any firm confirmations that I can add to the list?

Remember its not long now till we have to start firming up numbers with the alley, so I really need to know, that doesn't mean we can't fit more people in, we can add another lane nearer the time, but I need to make sure we have a full firmly confirmed 20 so we can secure 4 lanes on the day.

Cheers

Just so you know where your going

Maidstone in the Big Scheme of things

Maidstone from the M20

The White Rabbit Including Maidstone East Station

Directions by Road
The easiest way to get to Maidstone for those traveling from London or around the M25 is to use the M20 coastbound. This can be picked up about 2 miles from the Dartford crossing if you are traveling clockwise (those coming anti-clockwise will need the M26 which merges into the M20 before Maidstone.

I would suggest junction 6 as the best exit from the M20 to get to the White Rabbit, you will need to keep you eyes open as you approach junction 6, the motorway has a barrier starting just after J5 and you need to be in the left hand lanes or you will not be able to get to the exit for J6. If you do miss it however you can easily go to J7 (just 1 mile further on) and turn around. At the exit of J6 take the 3th exit (just after the one to re enter the motorway) and proceed under the motorway to another roundabout. Here you will take the second exit and join a duel carridgeway. Not far now :) You will come to a second roundabout which again you will go stright across (2nd exit) go past the garage on you left and as you approach the next roundabout you will see the White Rabbit on your left it looks like this!

infopic_34.jpg

Take a left at the roundabout (NOT UP THE TAXI AND BUS LANE THAT REALLY ANNOYS ME WHEN PEOPLE DO THAT! and the turn left again after the pedestrian crossing, the entrance (at the back of the building) will be directly on your left. There is a large carpark which is free to residents all day.

From the Station
Wow this is an easy one.

Arriving from the London direction you will exit the station at the bottom of an access road with a taxi rank. Ignore the taxis, you don't need 'em. Walk up the road towards the huge white building (County Hall). On reaching the top cross the road, turn left and continue walking. You will pass the main sorting office on your left and come to a roundabout. The White Rabbit its directly in front of you over the roundabout and opposite Clarkes Funiture Store.

I will be issueing an emergency contact number nearer the time, but it won't be posted here. If you think you might need it then drop me a line

For me its going to have to be a last minute thing, due to the nature of this job i might have on. Cant be predicted or helped in anyway unfortunatly. Il tell you the minute I know anything and if you need to book anything etc just leave me out of it. Dont want to hinder any plans.

Its not an issue mate :)

We WILL have flexibility upwards however I need my 20 confirmed so as not to lose deposit money or have a fight with the alley about booking 4 lanes and not justifying it with enough players.

I have provisionally booked the lanes but its coming to the point where I have to leave a £££ deposit and I want to make sure we're all set before I do :)

I know that my kind fellow members will make sure I am not out of pocket (I've already been told this :) ), but I want everything to go smoothly for everyone.

Just let us know and whichever day you can make you will be made most welcome :)

oh and can matblack take off +1 from my name and add it to "altered corpse"
cheers

reason being: i am not sure if my mate is gonna come or not, so it would be best to move him down to possibles, and with altered being my mate, just add +1 to his name!

Eh?

I've already taken the +1 off you name I did it a few days ago to keep things tidy.

Altered is in possibilities at the moment. do you mean that he is definately coming and that I can move him up or that he might be coming and might be bringing someone else with him hence he is possible +1?

Just explain it simply I'm getting on a bit and my brain isn't what it once was!

Actually MB i'm gonna have to hold fire with this mail until trust is back.

Leave it with me though.

Yeah, I could kinda see the coming actually :D

I've email someone about one prospect that we have, who is a bit younger but could come just for the day.

Which reminds me

Attention 16/17 year old members

We did say that we would provide a very limited number of space for the bowling for 16/17 year old members. These are still available!

The only provisos are; a) you will only be able to join us at the bowling and b) we will not buy you alcoholic drinks.

We would also like you to provide contact details for parents in case of emergency (these will be held in trust and not used unless there is a real emergency). We also need to know that you will be collected directly after the event or have a means of transport home :)
