One thing I initially enjoyed with CBL was stuffing my face like a monster but it soon became pretty tiresome dedicating my entire evening to eating and waiting for food to digest so I could eat some more. At points it was actually quite unpleasant. I found 400g manageable but yeah if you wanted to do something social in the evening it's not really possible 'sorry guys, can't come to the pub tonight, gotta finish my backload/eating copious amounts of carbs'.
I think for the strength accumulation phase it's better suited but if I was going to use CBL for a strong bulk I would struggle eating the volume of food required in a relatively small window.
Toby can confirm I can eat like a horse but even I have my limits!
weight drop has been a nice 4kg. First backload tonight, and the plan for the next month or so is to reintroduce backloads, bring my strength back up, and hopefully drop a few extra lb's of fat.
Backload last night keeping them a bit lower then my usual went for 280g(ish) and energy for this mornings workout was much better.
Weight this morning was at 12st 8.5lb which is positive post backload as normally I gain 2-3 lb the morning after a backload. I will be keeping an eye on weight as i expect to gain back some water weight over the next week.
4 days in the week just doesnt for me, it eats in to the evening before far to much. I dont normally have saturdays that are as busy as they have been so hopefully that will be fine.
