If this is anything to go by, watercooling is not gonna make much difference performance wise. Extremely good clocking cards but the extra mhz doesn’t translate to huge fps gains. Maybe its a driver thing? Amd has a knack for good gains with their driver updates from what ive seen.
I would want to see the results of an overclocked/highest clock possible using a 5600x/5800X/5900x for example. And a 6800 XT, reference. Both cooled through waterblocks provided by AMD via EK.

I've already seen what an RD will do by itself.

He's triggered and grumply upset. Just have a laugh at him like I'm doing. As its obvious what he's doing. :D

If these results are anything to go by I would think WC both the CPU/GPU would yield better results.

Everyone that doesnt agree with me = triggered and desperate. Oh and fearful.

Max hypocrisy telling others they attack you, when they don’t while you’re doing just that. Trolling 1-0-1.

Did i forget something? Oh yes my popcorn.

:D

The difference in power draw is quite remarkable!

remember, that’s only GPU power too. Add on the power draw of GDDRX6 on top of that too.

Looks like the 'Board Power Draw' is what is being shown so the whole thing inc GDRR6X. I assume the AMD card is reporting the same thing?

They will probably keep the water cooling kit for the 6900xt. But even with a custom bios, not having the 3rd power plug on the card, will not get you too far from the max air overclocking. Lower temps yes but not much higher clocks.

No one will say anything if it is not compared with native resolution. But when we talk about a card performance in 4k and someone comes and tells us that his card can do 4k 2 times better because it scales a lower resolution to 4k and he is happy with it, of course we have something against that. Because it is not the same thing as native rendering. If you are happy with DLSS then good for you. Someone else can see no difference between 1440p and 4k, should we accept it is the same thing since he is happy with 1440p?
DLSS exists because the cards are not good enough to render the games at native resolution. Again, if you are happy with the result, then good for you. Have fun!
What matters at the end of the day is the end result? I was playing COD Black Ops with DLSS on and looked incredible with RTX on. Is there slightly increased sharpness when I turn off DLSS? Yes. But the ray tracing effects look so great it’s a no brainier. Interiors look flat to me when RTX is off. Besides I can always counter the decreased sharpened with sharpening filters.

Really? Only 2 pages later and using the same "Yo mad bro?" troll. You do realise how transparent that is? Also how silly you're making yourself look.

Come on bud, at least play a different tune.

I'm just shocked he did it again so soon. To be fair we need to help the poor chap, today he may only be able to sit on command. With a little patience, maybe he'll be able to lay down, roll over and fetch.

It seems quite a few reviewers were sent the Radeon EK kit and after a week not one of them released a review using it.
I can imagine the performance uplift water cooling both the 6800xt and Zen 3 CPU.

I really liked the athstetics of that kit but then I checked the price and my jaw hit the floor lol!

I cannot in any way justify that price.

Hardware unboxed guys confirmed they use the RTX3090 in their personal PC cause they want the best hachuchu

as for amd gpu pricing, HUB says AIB cards prices are AMds MSRP shall be for sale in 8 weeks

But we need them before the Cyberpunk launch to be able to complain that Nvidia is playing tricks and they don't want us to play the game with RT. Or the RT implementation on AMD stinks. :)
And to read once again about how superior Nvidia cards are with the cuda cores and tensors and all that crap.

The kit involves the cpu as well as the gpu. I want to see benchmark results of both Zen 3 and Rdna 2 when they are watercooled. That makes a big difference in results. Not just the gpu.

It has to be AMD fault mostly.

They charge the AIB a certain amount for the chips then set a MSRP at the other end for the retailer.

If there's not enough margin between the two ends then the AIBs and the retailers will price higher.

Obviously if AMD reduces its profit margin at the start it can make the MSRP more realistic but they're responsible for setting numbers and the effects on others down the line.
