The time came

It strikes me, given previous history and the fact it's almost certain that someone will notice small holes in your postings, that it would probably actually be easier to just be truthful and transparent and say things like 'it has 3 PE2s and i've a 4th ready to fit' rather than lie to save typing about 5 words and then have a huge debate about it later when people ask why you lied about it.

If there really are simple explanations behind everything, that you end up revealing anyway in an attempt to redeem yourself, why not just post truthfully in the first place?

Yes, in hindsight it would have been easier.

You have to remember though that Fox and co. are holding on to two examples out of the 7 years I've been a member of these forums.

You and I both know there have been many more incidents than just 2 and to be quite honest, I think nearly all of them could have been avoided if you were just a bit more forthcoming with honest information rather than obscuring things with mistruths and half explanations that you must know will eventually unravel?

Bear in mind - i'm not one to be unfair - i've tried to stick up for you in the past when I thought things were going a bit too far and people were making assumptions (and have even been burnt doing so)

You mean two examples in just this thread alone!

You probably dont want us to go trawling back through all your other enormous threads for all the other lies :p

One day jon perhaps you might develop a bit more, and progress onto buying a car you dont really want and flogging it a month later :p

Let me get this fire started first dude, keep the sabre-tooths away...
:D

The simple response is to ask if they immediately changed all four tyres on all second hand cars they've bought? :)

I wasn't going to go down the part worn route - after all, the lies thing is more amusing - but the main bugbear with part worns is the flimsey and often unexplainable reasons for why they exist.

We all know why a second hand car has 4 part worn tyres - because they were fitted as new tyres by a previous owner and have subsequently worn - but the reason for the existence of apparently perfectly fine tyres that the owner decided they didnt want any more is something rather different.

But it's really for another thread.

This one is about you and your Clio :p

Tell him i is waiting...

NO HOTLINKING.

:D

I appreciate the effort, but you don't seem to be getting much of a reaction.

My thoughts are that after suffering his 'Achieved maximum discount' KO at the hands of yourself he's decided to forgo anymore ceded fights and against the advice of his management wants to tangle with [TW] "The Foxman" Fox for the title.

This could be career ending. Remember the several months it took Mike to recover from the last time these two went toe to toe?

I have removed good tyres from cars because I simply did not get on with them, I have sold tyres separately because I've bought wheels of a different size and sold the old ones, there will be people who will only replace two on an axle at a time, so when they get a puncture, they end up with one surplus.

There are frankly loads of possible explanations for part-worn tyres - you obviously need to take care in where they come from and to check their condition before fitting.
