I shan't be back on now until very late tonight or early hours of the morning to reply but basically i was going to suggest that you return it as it sounds as if it's faulty but if your dead set on getting rid of it regardless maybe we can strike a deal via email.

Well it's aimed at the what they call the hardcore clocker.....
What that always meant to me, is that u buy a mid-range CPU/GPU and add a little cooling and voltage and have performance+ of an overpriced part. Things are going crazy nowadays when the GPUs are half a grand+.

Its aimed at hardcore overclockers, and should really only be considered by such people, since

a) its big,
b) its heavy
c) it needs quite a bit of power
d) needs to fit in a cool case
e) its expensive
f) that pci slot is precious these days...

If your running an e6600 less than 3.4 I wouldn't bother...

This mans on the ball!

Plus the fact that hardcore overclockers have water or phase.

Its not worth it over a TT120....

From the few results Ive seen, this cooler matches watercooling in terms of maximum overclocks. It is also much cheaper than buying a watercooling system.

Would only bother with something like this if I wanted extreme overclocks. A good TTower or Ninja will allow a pretty big overclock as it is.

If you were really going for a big overclock, you're really out of aircooling territory anyway. For such people I'd agree its a great (and less messy) alternative to water.

Just curious, but after installing doesnt it block over the ram slots to the point were additional cooling for the ram is impossible?
