Firstly, please read the below rules, they are very important:

1. These threads are for: tactical/player discussion inbetween weekend matchday threads, injury news, contract renewals, manager press conferences, and general minor news about your club that may not warrant its own thread. Anything that's not regarded as a minor news story must go in it's own thread.

2. No Spoilers! Please keep any discussion about weekend and midweek fixtures to the relevant matchday threads, at least until MOTD has been shown.

3. All transfer talk should be discussed in the dedicated transfers threads. Small rumours, signing of youth players etc outside the transfer window when the transfer threads aren't open are fine.

4. As per forum rules, keep it civil, supporters of any team are welcome to post in all club threads. If you have a problem with a post, RTM it. Trolling or accusations of trolling will not be tolerated.

Didn't see a Spurs thread so I thought I'd kick things off. :D

:(

I've got a season ticket at that end ofthe upper east stand. Things are about to get very windy!

I believe that the new stadium will look much like Wembley on three sides (two main tiers with a smaller middle tier) but there will be a single large tier behind one of the goals.

Just received an e-mail from Spurs. They've assessed the impact of the demolition work and they're giving me a 12.5% refund on my season ticket.

Makes you wonder how bad an experience it's going to be!

I like the direction Spurs are taking though. First the bargain price Champions League tickets and now an unprompted partial refund.

well im sure it will be worth it in the end once its all done...seems a long way away still.
will be interesting to see how the team adjust to playing at wembley and then back to a much smaller pitch at white hart lane.

Yeah, the current plan is to play somewhere else near year (17/18) and then be back for the 18/19 season.

And then Levy will have to find another excuse for not spending money on players. :p

I'm guessing there must be half a dozen steps between step 2 and becoming this European power house because the extra income (even before you consider the costs) won't come close to bridging the gap between Spurs and the richest clubs in Europe.

we shall see

yeah, i think once the stadium is near completion Levy will look to sell the club for big money...which will be as long as it takes him to negotiate some of our transfers.

Officially have my first Season ticket for 16 years.. I'm guaranteed a place at the new stadium too as I was in top 2k on the waiting list. :)

Nice! :) As sad as I am to see the end of the old WHL, it's great that more fans get to see games in person.

Fingers crossed that we get used to playing at Wembley quickly.

My last season ticket was £100 for two seasons :D

I've manage to get to half a dozen games each season under the Bronze membership scheme. The ballot system last season actually worked better for me but in previous years, it was a nightmare..

The Wembley fiasco does worry me tbh. They looked totally stretched in all the games they played, except against Chelsea. We were just beaten by a better team.

Fingers crossed they'll adapt in pre-season to the bigger pitch.
