When Bale left Man City were just at the beginning of their cheating, oil slick Newcastle was in the Championship and teams like Brighton didn't exist. It is completely different now.
Leicester City were FA cup winners and a team comparable to Spurs in terms of size and squad yet they got relegated. Spurs finished 8th with 30 goals from Kane. Let that sink in. In any other team 30 goals from Kane would have you challenging for a title.
At least Spurs stadium can get money from Justin Bieber gigs I guess.
