The Ultimate Con

What a joke. If the OP is unwilling to have a discussion about the inside job funded by jews from space without requiring every participant to watch a TWO HOUR movie (something those of us who weren't 8 years old in 2001 and actually have stuff to do can't do) then the thread must be locked.

Why the **** would it be done in such a bad fashion if it was a black op? Surely they would have just got their own guys to hijack the planes and crash them, not rig the buildings with bombs, launch missiles and whatever the hell else they supposedly did.

It always tickles me that people will react with absolute amazement and disbelief that the US Govt. would do anything of the sort, but fully accept an elderly man living in a cave somewhere in Pakistan/Afghanistan is fully responsible.

There are loads of theories, some go really quite far. Thinking it was an inside job doesn't necessarily mean you think that they used remote control missiles or what ever else.

Perhaps for the best - we're clearly not going to have the considered debate I hoped for.

This has been discussed in infinite detail in many threads. The conclusion is the majority of people do not believe there was a conspiracy.

In your future replies (of which I'm sure there will be many) you can probably convince one or two others to believe your theories. You can then pat yourself on the back and say "job well done" and bathe in your smugness while researching your next conspiracy thread. If it makes you happy, then go for it. I just hope you're confining your thoughts to anonymous message boards and not the real world.

The reason that these things come up in the first place is that some people just can't believe that some other people, the terrorists, could hate America enough and be organised enough to fly planes into their buildings. It shows a fair old mix of arrogance and naivete.

Fundamentalist Islam hates the West because of the interventionist foreign policies in the Middle East and in central Asia. They hate the West enough that they are prepared to die flying planes into buildings and blowing themselves up on the Tube. They are clever enough to make explosives or learn to fly planes. Then they are organised enough to pull it off successfully.

And then people get all like 'NO WAI ARABZ DID THIS! WAS GUBMENT!' Um, OK, whatever.

Blindly accepting the 'official' version of events, while simultaneously rejecting the proposition that the Government could possibly have been involved 'shows a fair old mix of arrogance and naivete'.

If any of you had done any research at all in to the activities of the US Government in the past, then you'd know very well that they are very capable of conducting exactly this sort of operation.

It's like Above Top Secret but somehow worse.

OP - stick to your conspiracy nonsense websites and leave the rest of us alone (unless we want some giggles). Thanks.

So that you can discuss the usual GD crap? How easily pleased you are...

If it were true, it would be reported by someone other than nutters on the 'net. Some news agency would pick it up and run the story. Or are you seriously going to tell me that the US government has somehow managed to buy off every news agency in the world? Every single journalist is somehow prevented from telling the truth? Even if that were the case, they could just use Wikileaks or similar.

It's not arrogant or naive to assume that 99% of people saying something are correct, particularly with regard to journalists, a fair proportion of whom have at least a passing interest in telling the truth and making governments look bad.

Sure, Fox news are never going to run a story making the republican government look bad, and I'd even let you get away with claiming the BBC could be bought and sold, much as I doubt it, but really - every single news agency, journalist, reporter and whatever is somehow prevented from telling the truth?

Get a life.

in other news, I hear scientists have discovered a face on the planet Mars, only when the light from the Sun is at the correct angle to the facial features is it identifiable as being an ancient alien construction.

Step 23 in the conspiracy theorists handbook

Ensure you portray yourself as intellectually superior, thus adding validity to your theory.

For the third time at least, I've presented no theory. I posted a link to a video and asked people to watch it then come back to discuss. That's not what's happened, instead I've just been slagged off by 99% of the posters in this thread.

If you'd bothered to watch the video then you'd know it was ran in the US by one of the main channels for over a week.

Get a life? Thanks...
