The Utterly Imbalanced CaseLabs TX10-D build(s)!

Thought about the Asus X99-E WS board at all?

Every day! One thing I want to have are switches to toggle PCI-E lanes ON/OFF and it doesn't seem to have it. Hopefully I am wrong.

It also seems to be the most expensive x99 board but I don't need the Xeon/ECC support. Having said that, the stock heatsinks are really cool and functional so that may save me from needing motherboard blocks (who am I kidding? If EK makes one, I will likely buy it).

OMG that EK block is sick!!!

When I think I'm done spending money I come here and everything goes out the window!!!

Ya man, really nice. Listings are up on OcUK but seem to be out of stock now.

Everything was plain ol' distilled (50 mL or so) with 1-2 drops of Mayhems dyes- Deep Red, Dark Blue and UV Green.

I haven't decided on tubing yet. Ice Modz sent me 5 meters of 10/12mm tubing so that will come in handy a lot, at least for Side 2. I am considering copper/nickel coated copper for Side 1 but depends a lot on the motherboard and color scheme.

That Deluxe would be amazing if it only had PCI-E lane toggle switches :(

Coming from a board where I don't have that feature, I know exactly how handy they can be during benching or diagnosis.

ah yeah I remember you saying about copper tubing. nickel plated tubing and x99 deluxe!
I'd love to see a tutorial for copper tubing bending

Rule number one : Measure twice Cut once !
Rule number two : Measure twice Bend once !

There are a lot of videos on youtube and some good DIY guides which help you work out your radius etc.

I'd love to use nickel plated tubing it looks incredible, be nice with the Asus WS board actually.

vsg28, which board were you using before?

I am still using it (Asus Maximus VI Formula), it will go on Side 2.

I got a Haswell family portrait done: 2 core, 4 core and 8 core
