I may have found a bottle the wife has put away for me as well as a suprise!

Happy Xmas vapers! :)

I always have a problem getting the top cap on straight with my Eh Pro KFL+. It's on straight now as I type this, but this picture shows you what I mean. I push the cap on and screw it down and it's not flush which can cause leaks. After fiddling for ages I can get it straight. Is it a thread problem or do I need to be very precise when first pushing it on before screwing it down?

Hi, has you tried the old screw it the other direction first trick? What I tend to do for stuff that don't screw on correctly/easily.. Is pop the item on then rotate it to the left until I feel the thread drop then screw it do the right. My istick is a pain for getting attys on flush, also the threads are easy stripped out on it..

Are they the same thread type? I hear youtube reviewers bang on about different screw threads, but I don't tend to miss and match parts of mods, tanks or attys. :)

Merry Christmas one and all!

Cover the air hole and take afew primer puffs. Filling it too much screws up the vacum in it as well. Genuines do have a better quality thread wise but before turning just give it a turn the other way and it should click to let you know you have it in place.

Thanks guys, I'll give that anticlockwise/clockwise trick a go next time, which shouldn't be long because I've had this 1.9 ohm microcoil on for a while now, so I think it's time to build a fresh one. I'll try the primer puff/airhole trick too. I suspect it needs priming more since I only use 100% VG which is thicker and probably takes a bit longer to get through to the wick.

By the way, 1 year and a week ago I quit rollups and have been vaping ever since. Mind you, I'm taking more nicotine in now than ever before :p

Me too bud,me too! I used to smoke a 28g puch of baccy a fortnight and now I do about 10ml of 12mg nic a day :D

Not found a good chocolate juice yet. I think it's one of those flavours that just doesn't work...

I second that. Near the beginning of the year, I bought alchemists cupboard mint choc chip ice cream, chocolate peanut butter cookie, and vaping kings chocolate fudge brownie. They're all horrible and all have a similar thing, like really bitter dark chocolate which isn't very sweet.

Hmm yea, thanks, I kind of suspected it's the thread. Is this because I bought a KFL+ clone, as the PMMA tank came with it? Would a genuine KFL+ have had better threading? I can go back to using the smaller see through tank and stainless steel cylinders if need be, but I like to see all the juice.

.

Nah nothing to do with a clone per say, as the genuine also has the issue if your not careful, i know ive done it before with my genuine KFL+ V2, was a right pain in the ass to remove once i did it.

Good to know that I don't need to buy a genuine then, as I'm happy with this one other than that issue. There was another issue of leaking, but ever since I completely removed the airhole screw, it's been fine. The draw is loose but I quite like that anyway.

Heh, yeah, a 25g pouch of cutters choice used to last me about the same. When I first started vaping I was only doing about 1ml a day of flavoured juice at 18mg and then 12mg. Was also dripping a fair bit with my IGO-W which I found was doing my throat in. Then j.col told me how to make my own unflavoured all VG juice at 6mg (about 25 drops of nic base to 10ml of VG) and now I do about 3 to 4mg a day. Suddenly I find myself refilling every day.:D

Hoping to pick up a sexy new mod and/or a nice genuine dripper in the UK Ecig stores boxing day flash sale.

What mod/RDA are you thinking off?
I'm not going to get anything soon, I've already spent over £200 pounds on myself and vape kit over Christmas.. Thou I'm thinking of getting a vapershark DNA 40 or a mcr mech mod with a nice RTA for Chinese New Year.. Which is only a few weeks away; so it my have wait for my birthday.

It might be worth having a look a mcr mods a small company based in manchester. I find them so lush. They are fully customisable with different connectors, tubes and firing buttons but I do like my mods very plain and simple looking.

While it's a "wait till you have a big order" Yaeliq (Israel) do "mutella" which is actually a pretty good choccy/nutella one. Usually have a "deals of the day" effort - $10 for 100ml isn't be to sniffed at, not had a bad juice from them yet (at least - they all suddenly got nice and tasty since I upgraded to "proper" kit. Nautilus Mini and istick box mod :D I don't do tobacco flavours either so YMMV)

Hey Merlin, glad you got the juice situation sorted. :)

Regarding dry hits, as you may have a cross threading issue, that will mean you don't have a good seal, and therefore no vacumn inside the tank.
As the kayfun wicks from that vacumn, that could explain the dry hits.

Also with very high VG juices, as you make your own, add 10-15% distilled water to your VG (before mixing) to help thin it.
This will help a lot with wicking.

Lucky Bugger!, they are supposed to be very good.
Really fancying one myself but the other half would have had my testicles if i'd bought one before christmas.
Did you get it from Evolution?.

Yes mate. Haven't had chance to try it out yet (I'm blasting out this Lemo!) but I'll report back with results no doubt.

I got myself a geyser RDA for Christmas running it quad coil Christ its smashing my face off its utterly fantastic. Using 100% vg juice its like a cloud factory in here! Merry Christmas to everyone

Hey j.col, happy xmas. :) I think you're right about the vacuum, plus VG being so thick it makes it harder to wick anyway. I need to get some distilled water, is there anywhere to buy it or is easy to make? My nic base is AG which contains distilled water, but I doubt the 25 drops I add is enough to thin it sufficiently?

By the way, it was months ago now but curious how you got on with the alchemists cupboard coconut caramel and hazelnut honey, and their rhubarb crumble and custard, Mrs. Lords custard cream and waves of vapour custard cream? The only one I liked was the coconut caramel, couldn't get on with the others. I think you tried snake oil too.
