Re-wick everyday??

any reason? or just because you have shares in the cotton industry?

At the amount he vapes, his cotton processes more juice in a day than mine does in a month. Must be like an oil change in the car. Lol
Vapemail! my long awaited subtank...

Now im confused as hell, because every clone iv ever ordered has arrived in a box which says like "atomizer" on it or something, but this, well anyone with a authentic sub tank, can you tell any differences at all??

i did order this subtank about 40 days ago tho, so maybe they was outta stock so sent me a authentic one? iv never seen a clone look so genuine ever??

snip...

Kanger makes very little of their own products, they are more of a design and assemble company. What it might be is a parts that failed QC and sent back to the manufactures, and they have assembled them and forged the packaging and they didn't make in the first place.

I can't see it being that hard for a company to ask around other companies and see what parts they are making for kanger, and offer to buy up all the failed QC parts or put an order in for those parts themselves.

Maganus

Although the subtank is rated as high as you can go with the RBA, 30w only applies to the OCC.

That's the one, far too ruddy for me. I don't use my sub tanks enough as it is.

Not for me, because its too cold when vaping 90vg, with a small coil it doesn't even heat it up enough to really get a vape at all, I like how I vape tho :)

Its all about what you prefer. If you like it warm thats all good. A lot of juices though you cook out the subtle elements of it. You might get a warmer vape but not a more flavoursome one

hey

just got a Aspire MINI Nautilus and im using my old battery with it, (vision spinner 1300mah i think) it seems decent but i want a better battery to go with it, i dont like the look of the isticks or any of the box type ones.

what would you guys recommend for me? thanks

Anyone help a noob out please ^^^

If you want a tube battery, then you are looking at going 18650, then you'll need to factor in a decent charger too. Nothing wrong with that route mind. I like a tube mod as much as the next guy.

You then have to decide if you want to go for a mech, or a variable one. Mechs are shorter, as they don't have electronics. Variable ones allow you to change the wattage (or voltage if you prefer), same as your spinner. Mech just pump out whatever the battery is pumping out.

I quite like the Vamo as a nice, beginner spec, variable mod. Fires normal resistance coils fine, and gives a decent wattage range, with inbuilt battery protection. Overall a nice mod, and if you get from china, can be had for around £15 delivered. Of course, you then need to factor in batteries (around £12 a pair from Torchy for 30A ones) and a decent charger (probably somewhere around the £20 mark for a decent one to start).

Or you can go for a mech like a TurtleShip V2, that one has a lovely button. Or my Knight mod also has a lovely button. You can get half decent clones of either for under £20 quite easily too, mostly from China.

The great thing about these box mods though, is that, in general, they come with inbuilt chargers. So you can save a little there. Many come with their own batteries too, so again, something else not to really worry about.

Main problem is I can't think of anything better that isn't a istick.

Doesn't need to be better. Just something that will power my tank and hopefully last a day.

With the one I have it lasts from this morning until 3 ish. Then I have to start turning up the volts until it's dies. so now its on charge and I need it :-(

Variable is probably what I would go for. (Normal day and turn it up when I've had a few haha)

Is fast tech the place to go? I pop in here now and then and waiting times seem a little bit to long.

could I get something decent for the 30 pound mark? Charger mod and battery (s) ?

Yeah I could get another but that wouldn't cure the upgrade/new toy itch :-D

Not just that, the battery I have is a little thinner than the tank, so it looks a little odd. Plus with a upgrade I'm hoping it's more future proof ?

Wish i had bought the subtank mini instead of the full size. I cant mouth to lung on it and it sits gathering dust practically unused.

I think you might find the mini and nano worst for MTL as there's more air flow in them. you can try using the normal kanger coils on the tank as those coils have much restricted air flow on them (I've been told it works), good luck MTL a full tank of juice on that thing with a normal coil bright side is that your will only need to fill up once a week. :)

Sorry dude, I'm more of a box man and the only tube mods I have are mech mods, I wouldn't recommend any of them to a noobie.

Ermmm... Dicodes Dani seems popular and there's always the provari, but both are expensive, you can pickup a provari second hand for about £75 pounds now. myepack has the KSD VARI for £30 which looks like a provari 'type' mod.

There's the vamo..

Aspire does a nice range of carbon fiber mods, which is design to work with the Nautilus and is the same width: link

They also do a CF mod, Which I have and tend to let my friends use that will take a 18600 battery. There's no vv/vw but it is regulated in the sense that it's less likely to blow up than a pure mech one. Oh, they also have a CF MAXX (or something like that) which is a tube mod that has variable wattage and a 3000mh battery inside that will last you days! but it also charges via ego threading so it will take a day to charge. lol

You sure you don't like box mods?

EDIT: There's joyetech's ego one battery, but I don't think the original has VW/VV but there's a new one coming out soon, not sure on the features yet thou.

Well no. I really don't like the bulk of them, I work outside as well, so there not that practical for me. I've been looking around and it seems that it's the only way to go for a decent battery without paying to much.

I get that if I keep the vaping up then it's still cheaper but try telling the wife that haha.

Thanks for the advice I'll have a look at the CF MAXX (could use both batteries then.

Anyway, if I did get a box mod, could I get something for 30 quid?

The istick 30w is around that price, have you seen it in real life? it's really not that much bigger than a 18650 battery, and for what it has in width it makes up for by being shorter, as the board is on the side of the battery.

I can take a photo of my istick 20w (which is the older version but nearly the same) next to a few items if that helps.

There's the kbox which is under £30 pounds but that requires additional battery, I don't have one but I'm sure someone here can upload a photo of it next to items.

If you can use up a CF MAXX in a day, I be very surprised, but yeah keep the other one whilst you charge the MAXX up..

Ye I had a look at them in a shop. Looked at a few reviews of the kangerbox as well.

the CF MAXX seems to be what I want but it's not out in the UK yet and going off the US prices are around $75 so that will also be over my budget as well :-(

Think you have twisted my arm. It's going to have to be a box mod :-/

I have seen his website in the past, but which battery?

*edit*

Just ordered a new Panasonic NCR 18650B, last one lasted well.

Dude... that has a very low amp limit IIRC, somewhere around 10 amps. it's great for old school mods like 15w vamos. you want at least 20amp, unless your not planning to take it above 25 watts.

Max Amp of the Mod / 2.5 = amp required of battery.

50/2.5 = 20 amp

Never occured to me to try that, i just put one of my standard protank 2 coils in and it fits perfectly. However the boxmod shows no coil present so I'm guessing you would have to use a different kanger coil??
