Thanks Rilot, what happens if the item is faulty have you ever heard of how they handle those kind of situations?

If it's faulty/DOA I'm pretty sure FT will replace or refund.

I've been ordering from FT for over 3 years now and I've only ever had one product that was DOA (Opus BT-C3100 charger - the cooling fan didn't work).

I had to send it back to China (they said at the cheapest option) but I sent it back recorded just to make sure, was something like £6.

You sometimes have to be persistent with them, but they're usually good with returns.

Dropped by to say thanks to OC for a speedy delivery, and spotted a vaping thread.

Quick handcheck ;)

Cheers Gee, its just an Innokin Pebble so should be ok but thought I would ask just in case. I'll order it tomorrow

My order from darkstar arrived today so I now have everything except my mod and tanks which arrive tomorrow, so tonight I'm mixing up 6 different custard flavours (to see which I prefer) and a couple of others. Problem is they'll all need steeping for ages.

In terms of steeping what does everyone find works, a few hours lid off followed by days/weeks lid on or I've heard placing it in warm water can speed things up?

@Gee, What % nonna's red cake would you use on it's own? Also i presume it wouldn't need steeping being only 1 flavour or?

They should work now...hopefully!

Suspect it's a wicking issue, coil looks fine anyhow. Try making the tails shorter so the just rest over the top of the wells, you can also try thinning the tails out a tad.

I recently had a similar build in my serpent, though it was 4 wraps of Chinese 316 alien over a 3mm bit, that was chain vaping fine at ~60w with the wicking method mentioned above.

Also have a look at some YouTube vids of how to wick the serpent mini, lots of excellent guides out there.

I normally do that if I'm not sure how to wick my coils and so far I haven't had any issues with wicking on any of my tanks.

Vampire vapes are doing 30% off all eliquid and concentrates for the next 24 hours with coupon code: LASTCHANCE

Just nabbed 120ml of pinkman, 30ml Heisenberg and 30ml banoffee pie concentrates for £37 delivered :)

I got that email as well. Might grab some too. Might as well stock up while it's cheap.

Edit: Just got an email from Rejuiced, their 1/2 price juice this week is creamy vanilla custard, which I'm a big fan of. I'll be getting some of that as well.

Yeah ill drain and clean the tank again, and look up a how to, i mean i am new to RTA i wasnt expecting plain sailing

Cheers!

Once you get the hang of it then it will be plain sailing. Just make sure your cotton wick isn't too big or too thin when going through the coil. If it's too small ie you can easily pull it through that will give u issues, same with if the wick is too thick ie you really have to pull on it so much so that the coils are pulling apart.

You just want to have it thick enough so that it gives you a little bit of a pull when you pull it through. Also make sure your ends of the wick arent clogging up any air holes etc.

Btw where did you get a gold mini serpent?? Was trying to buy one for. fasttech but they no longer sell it.

Ahh makes sense, thanks for that.

I got it here, http://www.no1ejuice.com/wotofo-serpent-mini-rta-gold/

Another check in the win column for drip hacks, their Dragon Ballz is lovely, definitely ADV material.

E:. Looks like wotofo have struck gold again with the Lush Plus, they're on fire at the moment.

I did 3% for Nonna's Red Cake man and it's perfect for me. I'd mix it up at that first off, maybe make a 10ml batch or so first to see if it's for your taste.

It's good to go off the bat as well (shake & vape) although it will benefit from a couple days to settle.

__

Don't attempt to speed steep in hot water, it doesn't really work.

I find the best way is to give it a vigorous shake as soon as you've mixed it and try it. If the flavour isn't there, take the cap off, squeeze the bottle 10 or so times to let fresh air in then replace the cap. Do that for a few more days and see how it is then. If the flavour STILL isn't there, a week or two in a shoebox somewhere dark should do it.

I've found nothing really needs to steep as far as FA concentrates go - they're all good right after mixing.

Only one that took about 2 months was Capella Vanilla Custard v2. It's worth the wait though, imo.

For everyone in here who's into mixing, I recommend subscribing to DIY or DIE on YouTube. Guy has some solid knowledge and some good tips for beginners.

Advice if you can.

As an employer I've allowed people to Vape as it is outside smoking laws, now i'm starting to get grief from non smokers about the vapers, or actually one guy who emits clouds of vapour.
I don't want to ban it, there are a couple of others who do it and nobody really notices but this one guy is liable to spoil it for all.
So, is it a mix choice that you emit clouds of vapour? Can you change what/how you are doing it so not to do this or is it part and parcel of vaping?

I need to know what i'm talking about so I can act accordingly, I think he is doing clouds of "I'm a vaper and everyone should know" and he has no need to do this at work but I need to know if thats true :)

There is no need for him to be blowing large clouds at work. I have different set ups for different situations. At home I like blowing clouds so I use juice with a high VG (Vegetable Glycerin) content in devices with low resistance coils, using a lot of power. When I'm in the pub or at work, I vape juice with a lower VG and higher PG (Polypropylene Glycol) content on devices with higher resistance coils which use less power (I vape juice with a higher nicotine content in this type of setup as I'm taking less vapour into my lungs so don't get the same nicotine hit). I do this because I'm not a dick - I'm a considerate vaper in the same way I was a considerate smoker. I would explain the situation to him and tell him if he doesn't moderate his vaping, you will be forced to impose a ban. If he has any sense, he'll realise smaller clouds are better than none.
