***The Vapers Lounge*** 3.0

Welcome to the unfortunate coil lottery, a world where QC fails to exist.

yep, always, absolutely always the wicking stuffed in as if the only QC parameter was "cotton must touch coil".

i swear its getting worse, the ol' kanger coils used to at least be decent half the time.

Bought it from a shop in Newcastle town centre too so its a right pain in the arse to get to balls...

Quick question, got my Nautilus 2 on Friday, went in the shop yesterday and the guy agreed with me the coil was burnt out, so I got another was only £2 so no biggie, but this one still tastes utter ********, not burnt, just crap... What could it be

How many watts are you hitting it with?

Thanks for the info Stan! All going well I should be on a 3/3 rotation for a minimum of 2 years and I should be involved in loading the containers for sea freight, so I'll get my gaffer to ask the question and see about getting a supply of 18650's/mods and a charger sent out with our containers. Battery drills with lithium battery packs will be in the container too so can't see it being an issue. Not been confirmed what platform I'll be working from yet, but once I know I'll get in touch and find out their policies.

Does anyone use testing kits on liquid to check for nic or just read whats on the label? Last place I went to (Flotta) only did visual checks of the bottles rather then the contents.

Thanks :D

Shouldn't be a problem then. I'm not aware of any testing happening but, at the same time, I couldn't say whether they would accept something labelled 0 nic. I suspect they might only accept 0 nic if it's professionally labelled as such and sealed. As you've been offshore before, I'm sure you've encountered the jobsworths in the heliports.

Took the Battlestar apart to clean it after its trip down the toilet, easy to take apart, 4 screws and you're done. Really well made internally, have no qualms about stripping one down again, hell it even looks like it might take a DNA board with minimal fuss :)

Been using the Kylin RTA for about a month now. Love it to death and easily one of the best flavour RTA's I've used.

HOWEVER

It has a real issue with condensation build up in the base, to the point where tipping it just to take a hit causes it too 'leak'. I know for a fact it's not an ACTUAL leak. The only issue I really have with the tank but it's a rather big issue nonetheless...

Aye but it will arrive tomorrow, not Thursday if I ordered from darkstar, plus I only need enough for a 500ml batch :)

I'm trying to get my employers to open an account with darrant chemicals (Inc delivery, marginally cheaper then darkstar!) For some other stuff they sell (solvent cleaners mostly), so if they go for that I'll be able to get it cheap and not pay delivery, plus if I can twist my bosses arm, get some of their 7.2% nic on the business account :p

What're you mixing? Darkstar are good with delivery btw, comes via Interlink (DPD).

Ah I just noticed it said 1-3 days and remembered my last order taking 4 days to dispatch!

Found a 500ml bottle shot of drip hacks cryo mango in the back of the cupboard, completely forgot I had it, time to get it used to free up valuable space :D

Ah well the Battlestar didn't survive it's submerging in water as well as I'd thought, says it's firing but very little is happening in the atty, now reading resistance off by around 0.15 too, bugger.

E: left it soaking in contact cleaner for a half hour, good blow out with compressed air and it's like new again....for now.

Well I went into another vape shop down liverpool on my lunch break, they gave me one of the 0.7 coils out of a kit that included the Naut 2, and works like a bloody charm, 19.5 watts and really good flavour and good cloud too, especially for the wattage, defo miss the cloud off my TFV12, but the MTL will help me stop the tabs for now... Hopefully that continues :)

there's no magic bullet setup in vaping, the best kit is the one that keeps the cigs in the bin.

Had a couple of hours spare at the weekend, finally got framed staples sorted. Ohms were far to low, 0.08 but this was mainly a practice peice. Did fire it up on a mech quick and wow... clouds and flavour aplenty but not safe in the slightest :) Peerless is still hands down of my favourite RDA's currently avaliable. Amazing bit of kit for the price.

Also my Coppervape Squonker should be arriving this week.
