For the most part, it's money saving and you're not tied to a certain ratio (50/50, 60/40 etc.) - you can mix it at whatever ratio you like.

A 70/30 3mg base mix will end up being 60/40 or 50/50 once you've added the concentrates to it (depending on the percentage of concentrate).

The nicotine shots are purely nicotine, TPD law states max they can be are 10ml @ 20mg strength iirc (glad I bought 2 litres @ 72mg before it set in!).

Darkstar do their 'Bottle Shots' which have the concentrate in at 20%. To this you'll add however much nicotine/PG/VG you need for say a 3mg mix.

Ultimately it won't be as cost effective as using a 72mg base, but you'll be in control of the ratio.

Awesome that all makes sense, so for simplicity sake I make a 85/15 base mix, add in a the required concentrate of 'juice' to get roughly 70/30 mix. Now to add nicotine, their FAQ states 1.7 bottles for a 100ml bottle. So that all makes sense, but their nicotine comes in at different mixes. What is best to buy their 70/30 (which I normally vape) and that shouldn't affect any ratios. Right? As if I get PG 100% or VG it will again mess with the percentages.

Get the 100% PG Nic shots.

Easiest way to calculate it would be to go on http://e-liquid-recipes.com/create and put in your figures to see how much PG/VG/Nic you will need to add.

Awesome, yeah your guide really helped. I forgot it existed.

Any recipes for something blue slush like, or similar. I'd be quite happy making a lot of something similar then experimenting...

Battlestar has finally croaked, dropped it last night and it now isn't reading atomisers, it had a good run, especially after being submerged in water earlier in the year.

hi, has anyone ordered from jackamoo recently? I placed an order for the first time since TPD and it says the nic is separate.

I ordered 60ml at 6mg and from what I gather this comes in three bottles, one is the juice and two is the nic, do I add both nic bottles to the juice? It's not clear on the site and it's odd that the nic comes in two bottles rather than one, cheers

TPD law states they have to be sold in 10ml bottles. If it was 3mg you ordered I'd assume they'd send just the one bottle of Nic. Put both in.

Sounds right. I got mine at 3mg, 120ml and it was two bottles of nic. So at half the volume of eliquid, and twice the mg of nic that would work out right.

I got the FA stuff direct from them, the rest from darkstar. I got some bottles from FA too. I just need some bottles with nozzles for the PG + VG, though I have some 120ml bottles I can clean out and use for them. The 500ml bottles from your bottle link work out expensive with postage. So I shall hangfire till I get used to it and know if I can be bothered with it or not.

Worth noting that the concentrates from Darkstar have screw-top caps. You'll need a syringe or pipette of some sort to dispense it.

Yeah it's the postage that knocks it up hugely sadly! I've got enough I think to get away with what I need and if I carry it on (I might find it tastes horrible, or whatever) I'll buy a few bottles to justify the shipping.

Yes that's what you have to do.

I bought some fantasi orange ice from my local vape shop. 2 bottles of 60ml e liquid and I got 2 10ml nic shots. He just told me to pour one bottle into each 60ml bottle and that would make it 3mg, which is what I vape at.

You won't find it tastes horrible. The only way that's possible is if you go overboard with the percentages!

The Blue Raspberry I linked is great imo!
 
I've just mixed up 100ml of "Water-Malone" It's incredible! His flavour notes are on point "TFA Dragonfruit: Dragonfruit adds some more of that "wetness" that comes with a true watermelon." it really does have a wet feel to it, imo sweet enough without adding Cap Super Sweet... anyone who enjoys Water Melon id recommend giving this a go!

Got a Vandy Vape Mesh dropped off earlier and been having a play.:D

Never used a dripper before but it's full of flavour whether it's MTL or for chucking out the clouds and your built and ready to go in minutes, add the mesh, stuff in the cotton and away you go, couldn't be simpler.

Quick first impression pro's:

Flavour, speed and ease of build with the mesh, deck/tank looks incredible.

Con's:

Juice well is small and gets pretty hot.
