I'm making a big drama in my head whether to splash out £7 on FT for a Wasp!:p

Just talking to the missus there and she noticed me looking at that Entheon and nearly slapped me thinking I was going to buy it, telling me 'I think you've got enough now' at the same time telling me about this jacket she's going to buy-in one ear out the other, then.:D

The clamp mechanism doesn't suit dual coils either, at least not with exotic wire, it suffers the same fate as the Sherman RDA clamps in that it doesn't pinch wires evenly due to the nature of the clamp, they need goon style clamps with dual clamp screws.

I don't like the SS/NI mesh at all, only use the K1.

Are you adding the cotton after you have attached both sides of the mesh or clamping just one side of the mesh?

I don't pull the cotton through the assembled mesh, I do the 'one leg' method(just made that up,don't know if there is a name for it), cutting/putting the cotton in place then attaching the other side of the mesh, and it's packed tight as I can get and don't get the hotspots.

The only dry hits Iv'e had are self inflicted, not the mods fault but they are super harsh like you say.

I bought DH's Fantasi ages ago and wasn't impressed at all with it in everything else I tried it in, but on the Mesh, it's just wow, it's transformed the flavour.

It's crap at squonking too in Mesh mode, sometimes I love it, other times I hate it, but it was a great introduction into rda's for noobs that want to learn how to wick properrly as you can fall back to the mesh.

So I recently asked about the OBS engine nano and I have ended up ordering a pico squeeze and oumier wasp nano on FT purely because I like the small size and a single coil tighter draw RDA.
Also I have completely fallen in love with Wick Liquor's Deja Voodoo! For a sweet vape coils and wicks last well with this juice. Got their Carnival on order too which I had a while back and enjoyed it too.
Can't wait for the wasp to arrive and get an SS build in it.

Hey guys, I bought these scales about a year or two ago. Work great, go from 0.01g to 500g. However, if I don't remove the 2 x AAA batteries, they run down in 2 or 3 days, that's with the scales turned off. So I have to remove them after every use. It's not a big deal but just wondered if any of you have these scales and the same issue?

 
Charon arrived today, 3 weeks to the day they were ordered from GB, nice mod, touch smaller than I thought it was going to be, but liking the feel of it in the hand so far, absolutely amazing value@£26 though!

Got mine earlier in the week (6 days from FT for £29!) love it so far, looks and feels like the Evic primo, just minus the absolute dog **** 510 :D
 
So i am having the absolute worst time at the moment for mods. I;'ve had 3 different ones die over the last month or so.
Smok Alien - Display has died, but still fires
Amodos Minikin V2 - Display frozen, still usable apart from it auto firing sometimes.
Smoant Charon - Completely dead, won't turn on

The first two were bought from DNAVapes during the TPD sales, and they no longer appear to exist, and the Smoant was from China.

So at the moment i am using my trustly workhorse the Eleaf Pico, but i am looking for another dual battery mod, not too worried about TC. Budget is around £60. With all these failures, i am thinking i should go down the mech route. But any VW mod suggestions would be appreciated.
 
Is there something wrong with me? I was a light to medium smoker (4-6 a day) and gave up completely about three years ago. In my case, it was never about the nicotine. More a chance to get out for a break and the throat hit. All I really require is a TH. So, my issue is this...I can't get a TH. I have tried levels from 6mg to 18mg and always smoke DTL - never MTL. I am usually at 40w or so at 18mg have gone to 55w and nothing (apart from a hotter inhale which isn't to my taste.)

I have other people trying out my juice and coughing and hacking telling me it is too strong yet I get nothing. 18mg DTL! I use mostly Rejuiced, Drip Drop and Vampire Vapes. Ordered a few Dekang or Hangsen from Fasttech and probably owing to the higher PG/VG ratio, get a little more from those but don't want to make a habit of Chinese stuff it :-) However, all other juices I have tried have the same result. No TH

I am using a Kangertech Subvod Mega TC with .5ohm coils, a Kangertech Dripbox Dual coil Dripper at 0.4/0.5 ohm on an Elfeaf battery at 40w and even 50w and finally a Smok AL85 with a Baby Alien 0.4ohm at 40w-55w. Nothing. Friends are coughing and hacking at 20w.

The only time I get a TH is the first drag in the morning after the devices have been left overnight. Almost as if the juice is left on the cotton or wick something evaporates and leaves something behind that gives the hit but as soon as new juice flows in it is diluted. Wierd. Anyway, the juices all seem to be 60/40 VG/PG or 70/30 VG/PG as most juices are now days. The Chinese stuff is usually the opposite with the higher number being PG.

Am I doing something wrong or are my lungs stronger than a Kenyan marathon runner? :p
 
Might be worth trying an MTL setup. Also I find premium liquids are smooth with minimal throat hit. Vapegoo though I find is a hard TH on 70vg/30pg and works well on most devices from a Nautilus X to an RDA. Flavours are subjective of course but they have a few I like and the prices are good.
Also maybe try a warmer vape. Reduce airflow down so the vape is more restrictive and warmer. Flavour chasers do this but I like a tighter draw in general.
 
Dear god man! You should not be subohming with that much nicotine!

Could well be the flavours themselves. Some of the more citrusy vapes really turn people off because of the throat hit they provide. Try getting liquids with more PG in perhaps.

Regardless, don't continue to sub ohm 18mg. That's not good for you, dude.
 
Managed to source a Boreas v2 on Ebay yesterday! Used once for the purposes of review and then boxed straight back up, £21! Well chuffed considering they're hard as nails to get from all my go to vendors atm.

Absolutely loved the original, still one of my favourite tanks in fact.

My friend picked up an SX Mini G Class last week. I've never wanted anything quite so much in my life... Absolutely astonishing piece of kit with so many excellent little features.

Seriously considering dropping by my B&M after work to check there ones out. If I forego buying a new mod for the next few months and sell my HexOhm v3, I can absolutely justify the purchase...
 
I have been sub ohming in the chase to get a throat hit. The 18mg gives me as much hit as 0mg. The only thing that I can feel is the Rejuiced Molotov Menthol Cocktail. Jesus, like a bomb really is going off in my mouth and Heisenberg from Vampire Vapes for flavour. Actually, a few South African brands have a lot of flavour like The Lungbrewery Pan Galactic Gargleblaster and Aliababa Blue Guava but these are only 6mg or 0mg repectively. Most UK juices have no TH or lung burn for me. Like Hangda Litchi 16mg but again no real TH as it is a 50/50 mix.

The only juices with high PG are the Chinese ones and as I stated, not sure if I want to use these too often as well because not certain of the QC. Also, it is difficult to subohm high PG due to technical. It is almost as if I could try 24mg or even 36mg on a SO device because nothing else works.

Not a fan of a hot draw and even less of a tight draw. Have experimented with both to find a solution and both are unpleasant. It is almost as if my first "e cig" a think a Volcano Inferno was the only thing that gave me flavour and TH may it rest in peace.
 
Add one drop of MTS Vape Wizard per 10ml by Flavourart into 10ml(chefs flavours is only a £1 delivery-cheapest I know off), that'll increase the throat hit, but it will slightly change the flavour(you can add more but presume it will keep changing the flavour), and/or buy concetrate/bottleshots and add more PG than VG, that'll definitely increase TH.

Few days in now, really enjoying it, don't know why i waited for ages to get one as it's been screaming at me for months but got one now.:)

Reading up on this on their site, if it does what it says it will this would be incredible. Will also try their flavour enhancer as this is another bugbear of mine. Dann, may be ordering an entire host of stuff from them.

Thanks for the heads up TB. Will report back on the results either way.
 
You want FA Flash Hit enhancer if you want more of a throat hit. Their Vape Wizard softens acidic/sour flavours to give the impression of a richer vape.

FH enhancer can make a 1.5mg juice, have the throat hit of an 18mg juice. Depends how much you add.

Just spent the best part of an hour b on the site looking at all the available options. Will probably order some of their ready to vape and the flash hit enhancer and probably the Vape Wizard too.

Gosh. So excited. If it works I will be happier than a pig in muck
