***The Vapers Lounge*** 3.0

Hey guys, quick Q, I've been using the Nautilus 2 tank with it's standard 0.7 and 1.8 ohm coils and I'm struggling to get any taste from them. I'm running the 1.8 at the moment at 10.5w. Anything higher and it just tastes like burning. I've tried 2 different vendors for juices and it's always the same. VERY little flavour.

I smoke direct to lung, is this anything to do with it?

I've got some of their 0.7 BVC coils on the way and some milkman e juice which I've not tried yet.

Juice too VG heavy? Might not be wicking well enough.

I've started mixing mine now at 50/50 with no issues.

try the digi flavour siren 2, my mate has the first one hooked up to an e-pipe and it is a very good mtl tank so im hoping the second one is better, and sweet juices like toffee etc will really gunk up coils quick :)

once you start building coils you won't likely go back so be warned :)

Thank you I will look into the Siren 2.

The Nauti is not a good direct-lung tank. It's a mouth to lung tank.
I'd see if you can get down to a local vape shop and try some different tanks.

Any suggestions from the top of your head for a good direct to lung tank? I went with the Nautilus 2 with the notion it would replicate smoking a cig, it did. But within a few days, I naturally took to DTL.

I'm running it on an Eleaf iPower 80w.

I've currently got a Smok Alien 220W mod and was wondering if it was worth upgrading it to something else? I use the Crown 3 mini tank and I'm not really interested in building my coils (tried it and it was a pain in the behind - I just want to vape so I don't go back to smoking). I'm just wondering if there is anything amazing I am missing out on with all the new mods that have come out recently?

Edit: I also bought quite a lot of e-liquid to stock up on but I'm not getting much flavour from it which is weird because I've vaped other e-liquid in the Crown 3 mini and got great flavour. Do you think that is because I need to let it steep or could it be something else? I tried taking out the old coil, cleaning the tank out completely with water and then putting a new coil but that didn't really make a difference.

if your looking for a dtl with replaceable coils i can recommend the kangertech pangu, i always have one set up for taking out cycling and run it about 24 watts on the sub ohm coils, the coils last for ages and chuck out a lot of vapour, it is not tpd compliant though so i got a load of they tanks for cheap from my local vape shop and have to buy my coils from fast tech, about 7 dollars for a pack of 5 while the local vape shop before the tpd were asking for 10-12 quid a pack :)

(oh stay away from the non sub ohm coils on it their gash)

edit: keep your nicotine at 6 mg or lower on a dtl tank lol

Cool, I'll give it a gander, vaping isn't as big over here as it is in the UK, well, it is, but a lot less shops around. I'm smoking around 6mg, sometimes 3mg but not enjoying it as much.

I'm running an Eleaf ELLO at the moment and really enjoying it. It came with my Pico 25 but I wasn't planning to use it beyond a couple of tanks just to see how it is but the flavour is excellent. The sliding top-fill is super easy too.
Based on my few days with it I decided to get some more coils (the HW1 coils seem the best for flavour). Running it at 60W and it's a lovely vape to be honest. Doesn't leak either.
It comes as a 2ml TPD compliant tank but you get a chimney extension and a longer glass in the box to take it to 4ml.

Just got myself a Kylin RTA, my first rebuildable. This thing is leaps and bounds better than my crown 3, which ate through my coils.

Going back on this, the Kylin is crap. Parts get stuck pretty much every time I needed to fill or re-wick, I've somehow managed to atomically fuse the cover where the coils are. My guess is there's some cotton stuck in there.

Only problem is if you don't over-wick it, then it leaks like a sieve.

So i have had my Cleito 120 and Alien 220 for a handful of months. Got to say that i need nothing else, what a combo!

The rest of the vape gear is collecting dust since ive bought it. My only issue was that the top sometimes became stuck from over screwing, a spare O-ring was the simple and effective solution.

OBS Crius II!

Just to let anyone know who might be wondering...

I broke my PC down last night as I'm upgrading in a few days. I vape in my games room quite a lot but nearly always have a window open to vent it out. This however seems to have done very little...

Almost all of the surfaces available to touch on the inside of the case are slick with a tacky residue that's quite disgusting to the touch. Gave it a smell and it's DEFINITELY juice, like straight up VG.

My system was air cooled by 3 large fans (2 in front, 1 up top) and I've been vaping near it for around a year.

Not too surprising, vapour by its nature condenses very easily and juice does not evaporate well at all. Since your system has a lot of airflow directing vapor through it, it will build up eventually.

On the bright side, electronics should be fine but unfortunately it creates a perfect surface for bits of dust to stick to.

clean it with alcohol or give it a wipe with electronic alcohol wipes and let it dry. Leave it too long and the dust that builds up with the gunk will make it MUCH harder to clean

Yeah that's one reason why I always vape outside! It may not be as bad as nicotine stains on walls but vaping definitely leaves its mark...

Can confirm, did a clean recently and found the tips of my fans and some parts of components with a slight residue. It's horrible lol

Yeah, don't vape indoors. It leaves a sticky residue on everything.
Yet we happily coat the inside of our lungs with it? Hmm makes you wonder doesn't it...
