Fuming.
ordered the Smoant Charon 218 off fast tech, 34 bucks. 22/01/18 I ordered. Realised afterwards its ships in 7 days. fine, my fault, ill wait.
Curiosity strikes as i check the item a few days later to recommend it to a friend, states discontinued (this was on 28/01/18) So I send them an email saying was my order in stock and could they guarantee id be receiving one. Received a reply stating my order was placed and that it would in fact be shipped on 01/02/18. Fine.
Email comes in this morning to tell me its discontinued and they have cancelled my order. Useless *****! offered me a refund or another item, So ive asked them to send me a yellow smoant battlestar (strangely more expensive by 5 bucks but)
So hopefully Ill have a mod, soon....
 
Yeah, they're not too reliable with that ships in 7 days thing. My Sirius was meant to ship days ago and come today, it's 'restocking' which could mean anything from we're putting it on the shelf or we're still waiting for it.
Also got a few bits the other day and the bag was open at the top with a bag+note from RM saying it was damaged before it got here, which is true because you can see the open bit in the FT shipping pic... Luckily, only a few minor bits missing like a drip tip, tweezers and stuff. Thankfully had the major stuff intact like the Aromamizer and a couple of bits.

In other delivery shenanigans, Cylon turns up today in the wrong colour (Greyhaze):D

Besides that, I've found a good setup with the VLS: (deep breath) Single vertical framed staple staggered clapton @.2. Very nice.
Oh, and grabbed a matte black Drop RDA to go with something fancy turning up next week. It's pretty good, with a smooth toke, but the staple claptons I've got in there are a bit spitty.

Same thing happened with me, placed an order for a therion DNA75C bf squonk mod and it was discontinued after 2 days. Sucks that it’s been discontinued but it happens, I just refunded the amount in gift cards until something that grabs my eye comes in.

Anyone have any experience with the driphacks hackshots?? There’s a few of them that sound pretty nice and gets me into making my own juice till I get more experienced.

I practically live off Jatuns Wraith. read reviews of some before you buy, some of their stuff are major coil killers. Their Cryo Mango can make a coil black inside a tank :o
 
DH's is my main juice, sugar lip juices if that's your thing, in order of preference Sparkout>Pineapple Blitz>Smashberry>Forbiden Fruits, as pgi stated though, sore on the coils and you'll need to wick a lot too on Smashberry with FF the worst offender.

Just started on their Cremeux custard after a 6 week steep, but although I like sweet, first impressions for a custard, it's maybe a bit too sweet in comparison to the likes of Kreeds/Welsh custard, I'll need to give it a good go though

Lol yeh I’m used to having black coils lol. The 2 juices I vape mostly fantasi orange ice and monsta vape sweet and sour ruin my coils after a tank.
But nowadays I use my squonk more often and the coils aren’t too bad. I actually bought a roll of this wire from FT a month back and it doesn’t go black like my fused clapton wire.

It’s the https://www.fasttech.com/product/8501105-kuken-tech-nichrome-80-muti-strands-fused-clapton that I use now in both my squonk rda’s and my smm serpent tank. Amazing wire, clean and doesn’t gunk up like my fused clapton wire. They also tend to last longer too, take cotton out...dry burn at high wattage then run under a tap and the coils comes out pretty clean.

Anyhow getting back to driphacks. So if I buy the hackshots, all I need to buy is nicotine and vg?? Or do I still need pg??

The ones I’m looking to buy are:
Cryo fantasi
Cryo mango
Black slush
Jotuns wrath

Probably get the 500ml bottles or is that overkill?? I really don’t want to be spending lots of money per mth to make my juices.
 
Just add VG/PG, nic to the bottleshot, I tend to buy the 1L ones for £28. Then decant into smaller bottles when needed.

Just make sure to check how much concentrate is in the bottle so you add the right amount of nic, iirc it should say in the product description.

3mg nicotine juice=4x10ml PG nic shots, 140ml VG, 19ml PG

Buy some scales Gee linked in page 1, well worth the small outlay.

Without scales, you'd add the 4 10ml nic shots, fill an empty nic shot bottle with PG twice, top up with VG and shake it up.


I'd try the 250ml shots as it's a lot of juice to chuck if you don't like it, then buy as much as you want if you do like it.

Yeh I’ve changed them all to 250ml bottles, at least that way if I don’t like any then it won’t be such a waste of money and juice.

So pardon the noob questions, I got the hackshot bottles I want. So what else would I need?? I also got some 250ml empty bottles to store the juices in as well. I guess I need some nic, pg and vg?? Anything else I need other than those above??

Early verdict? Me likey :)
I put some other stuff there for scale, although it's honestly not the monster I thought it would be (that's what she said), even with the 10ml tank.

It would be on the Cylon, but I don't want to use it, as it's probably going back to be exchanged with the originally ordered gunmetal version.
The mod itself is really solid and comfortable etc. It just doesn't really have much of a sexy want factor... Might just refund it and look for something else.

Other than that, I've set off my smoke alarm at least 6 times this week :D
 
I've got the black cylon and black aromamizer plus winging its way from china right now. Love smoant mods, my year old battlestar still going strong, my work mod, and the charon for home as it's a bit bigger. Looking forward to trying out the Cylon/aromamizer combo, heard good things about both!

In my humble opinion, and I use DH a lot, I would recommend swapping the Cryo Fantasi for the Cryo Granita. It's just so so moreish! One of my first Cryo flavours was the fantasi, due to loving the original malaysian stuff, but it's just not the same. That and Cryo Grape from DH are quite disappointing, IMO. It's like a marmalade type orange I found.
Cryo Mango, Cryo Granita are both unbelievably good though however! Black slush and Jotuns wrath are my ADV's, you can't go wrong qwith them :)

Good shout mate, wasn’t sure on the cryo fantasi as not many reviews on it. I’ve got cryo mango, granita, black slush and jotuns wrath in my basket along with the cryo fantasi. But may take it out now.
 
Most of the reviews on DH got wiped when they updated the website. By all means try it, but it falls very short of the original fantasi orange ice. If you do buy it, and not a fan, there are several FB groups where you can sell it on for a decent profit.

I reckon you'll be pretty happy with the combo. I'm sure you've watched plenty of reviews already, so don't really need my opinion :)
I've been using the tank for the past hour or so and I'm pleased with it. Really smooth draw, tons of cloudage if that's your thing. Flavour is decent, although that's kinda dependent on your build and what you're used to.
I've been exclusively using a Pulse 24 and VLS for the past week or so and this is slightly muted in comparison, but I guess it's not totally fair to compare it to flavour oriented drippers.

Oh, and it chugs through juice!
