Look at squonking ;). Literally the same sort of flavour u get from dripping but less inconvenient and messy ;).
I couldn’t get into the whole drip thing but the last mth I’ve been squonking and best decision I’ve made.

Rta wise?? Serpent smm does not leak and has great flavour, not as good as my squonk mod and dead rabbit squonk rda.

I had a Coolfire Ultra paired with a Uwell Crown 3 until recently. I still pop back to it now and then. Lovely flavour and clouds. If you fancy higher wattages, the .25 Ohm coils are brilliant. I've heard good things about the new .4 Ohm coils too.

Oh, and it basically sits flush too!

I got impatient and paid the premium for one to be delivered today. Tried to wick in my 30 min lunch and failed miserably.

I didn't expect the resistance to be quite so low with the stock coils. Coming in at a respectable .14 Ohm. Ill get her wicked properly when I get home and let you know how it fares!

The Bravo tank. Wow.

If you like airflow and massive flavour and clouds, buy buy buy!

I’m not certain I’ve got the wicking and coil height right yet, getting some spitback and a little leaking. More tinkering tomorrow methinks.
 
Hi guys

Had an issue with my SMOK Alien Mini today. Was vaping as normal and top of my hand got burning hot. Took the battery cap off and the battery is burnt around the top through the wrap, cell itself looks intact although i've binned it. Was a new Sony VTC6 from Torchy. Only had a 0.5 Ohm coil at 45w at the time so it should be fine for that.

Likely to be the battery or the mod? The mod had no warnings on it as was working ok. I've stopped using it for now.

Any ideas on a new mod that can fire up to say 70w and uses a single replaceable battery, and a reliable place for batteries?

I hope you binned it the correct way and not just threw it into your rubbish bag.

Plenty of decent mods that will 70 watts and more.

Batteries wise?? Fogstar is pretty well renowned for selling good batteries, they will be the real deal.
 
If buying from fogstar, order on a friday, they usually do 15% off on a friday :)

Had a couple of days with the Gbox 200 Squonker...

Pros: Well made, spring loaded 510, looks good, soft bottle, good interface, cheap, got mine for ~£40 from a UK retailer

Cons: Singular door for batteries and bottle, so if you need a refill out come the batteries too! I find that the +/- buttons sit level with the squonk bottle, so I find my self pressing a random button when topping er' up.

All in all, very very very pleased with it, been using the Wotofo Nudge on it all day (very nice RDA) and have just swapped it out for the Ijoy combo thing that came with my dog **** capo squonker, another very good RDA (Its like a lush plus and a mad dog had a baby?) :D

Have you not got one of those squonk refill bottles??? I picked up a cheap one off FT a few weeks back and I use that to refill the squonk bottle in my rsq mod even though the battery isn’t in the way.

Less mess and less faffing around.

This is the one I bought, insulated as well.

Wouldn’t get a silicone soft one as they are pain to refill the squonk bottle. I bought one of those and didn’t like it. The above is a bit stiff but better to refill I find.

So you just screw the bottle nipple into the 510 and fill it from the top?? Simple yet genius, purchased, thanks :D

Yep that’s pretty much it really. It’s also insulated the tip so in case you happen to fire the mod while trying to fill up, you won’t blow yourself up in the process lol.

Quite easy to fill up the bottle, turn the mod upside down, squeeze the squonk bottle then flip the mod and squeeze the refill bottle and it will start to fill up. No mess no stress.

Oh and you are welcome bud.

Been slowly trying to pull back from the cloud chucking after realising i was chaining a troll as a daily carry.

I've moved back to the trusty subtank, but its feeling rather dated (no topfill and sketchy coil quality).

So wondering what tanks are out there in the 15-20w range that have top fill and decent coils (i have a serpent mini but as im timing the process by dropping after running through a set number of coils each time i wanna avoid rtas)

Also whats the state of 2 battery mods? Is there any improvement on an rx2/3 in 2 batt mode for being small and handy?

Which reminds me, FT have now discontinued all their lost vape therion DNA75C BF mods. Which has annoyed me to no end as I was about to order one :/.

Looks like I’ll probably have to order one in the U.K.

Take a look at the Eleaf Invoke mate. Been using it now for about 3 weeks and I can't fault it.

Figured it was better to have the coils closer to the outer airflow, rather than centrally placed.

Verdict? It's pretty decent, though I'll have to have a play with coil placement.
I did try a single horizontal in squonk mode, which was ok, but I don't think singles are my cuppa. Not really feeling the Crius II as an example.
As far as vertical coil RDAs go (or any RDA I've tried tbh), nothing has come close to the thick, super dense flavour of the Marquis RDA in my experience.

I reckon the white PMMA one would look awesome on a Pulse BF with frosted white panels.

In other news, very much looking forward to the Aromamizer plus with a beefy dual setup. Even though there are elements of the design that look a bit cheap/iffy, I ended up going with the gunmetal Smoant Cylon to sit it on.

I think you might be on to something there.
Having just got back into this, I only managed to scrounge up enough muji for a couple of wicks before I started using a new bag of cotton bacon v2. It might be just me, but flavour with CBV2 seemed a lot more muted in comparison. As I'd run out of muji, I couldn't do a switch back test to be sure.

Anyway, got some fuzz organic cotton fuzz on the way, so let's see if that's any better.
If not, it's muji time. Yes, I feel dirty for spending £6 on cotton lol.
