***The Vapers Lounge*** 3.0

I'm on max VG, well as max as I can given that the nic and concentrates are pg based.

About coils, I'm using cleito exo with currently a 0.2 coil even tho I asked shop for two 0.4 grr, the 0.4 ran out few days ago. Having to push to 60-65 to get the flavour out of it which kills my battery life and I don't like the vape too warm but it's only range to bring the flavour out.

Was Gona buy more .4 coils but we're 4 quid each at vape shop in town, 50p more than the other vape shop near mine has em which still expensive but but cheaper than town. Want to buy online but dunno which shop to trust as don't want fakes or be overcharged on postage considering such a small and light item. Might get some from vapable.

So while it'll take another week or two or three for my RTAs and mods to arrive from the far east, I've received my PG and VG and my four 30Q batteries. Just wondering what the black stickers are for?

They are replacement insulators should you want to we-wrap them.

So having started vaping around a month ago, what's your advice on a tank/coil setup with the below backstory?

Mods:
Innokin MVP4 100w 4500mah
eLeaf iPower 80w 5000mah
I prefer the MVP4 as the battery life is really good however it's just slightly bigger/heavier than the eLeaf - very happy with both

Tanks:
Aspire Nautilus 2 - great MTL beginner tank
Aspire Nautilus - got this due to having a bigger 5ml tank and it looks awesome
They use the same BVC coils and I've experimented with 0.7, 1.6, 1.8 ohm variants
Problem with the above is I then realised I like a 70% VG ratio (higher PG affects my asthma and starts to get harsh at a lower wattage) but the coils they use aren't suited for higher VG as they have small wicking holes which don't wick fast enough with the thicker liquid so end up with very dry/unflavoured vape after the first couple hits

Then I moved onto the tank which came with the MVP4 - by this stage I got the hang of DTL vaping
Innokin iSub V - uses SS 0.5ohm coils and I'm happy between 245C - 255C in TC mode

During this time i tried out around 20 different flavours and have now started to mix my own 70VG 6mg of:
Vanilla Custard
Strawberry Milkshake
Pinkman

Then I was thinking I'd like a tank which holds more juice and recently acquired the:
Uwell Valyrian - lovely bit of kit with 0.15ohm coils rated between 90-110w
It has so much flavour but really warm so I dropped to 60w (below that the coils won't fire properly). Still flavour but chasing clouds I really felt my lungs close up - not sure if it's the warmth/flavour/being a noob

Now I'm thinking maybe I've skipped a couple of tank steps and this one is too advanced for me at this stage - what tank can you please recommend that:
Takes SS coils between the 0.2 - 0.4 ohm range
Fires between the 40-60w range
Holds more than 4ml
Top fill (clicky button thing)
Good flavour and clouds
Not wider than 25mm
Standard 510 connections

Any input welcome :)

I've heard people mention re-wrapping batteries a few times.. does this mean replacing the plastic wrapping? why would anyone need/want to do that?

Yes mate pretty much.

Basically after a while the plastic wraps around the cells can become a little worn, which means they expose the naked (metal) cell and could potentially short out in a device, especially a mechanical mod.

As soon as I spot a tiny tear or rip in the plastic, I always replace the wrap. It's a two minute job with a hair dryer and they're super cheap to pick up. I think I got like 50 or so from Fasttech for 50p, along with some adhesive insulators (200 or so) for about £2.

You can also get some fancy ones with patterns on, but personally, I get the clear plastic ones, and then put a sticky label underneath with something to match the pair; for example; A & B, 1 & 2, Cat & Dog etc.

Few days in with the Pulse, it's ok, if you liked the original Pulse then you're going to like this, it's basically the same with a board but slightly bigger, very, very light in the hand, fires fast and doesn't increase in stupid +.1 increments and looks good, the new bottle is outstanding-no more juice spillage for the average joe who doesn't now how to pinch fill/screw on normal cap bottles.

Board is buggy though, has a habit of 'new coil' syndrome, and noticed(mine does anyway) that as your battery depletes to a quarter left, the wattage totally drops off like a mech does which it shouldn't, it should output full power until the battery depletes.

Build quality is ok apart from the doors, bottom sticks out under the bottle, but it's not exactly expensive.

@Yas786 Pulse 80w bottles fit the RSQ perfectly, if you're still using the RSQ and not getting the Pulse, you've got to get that RSQ a new Pulse bottle.

Pulse 80W would have had a better impression if I didn't have an RSQ, it's been my daily for months now and it's far superior in every department apart from the Pulse bottle(nothing wrong with RSQ bottle btw it's been doing great and still going as strong as first used it).

RSQ build quality is way, way better than the Pulse, it just feels solid in the hand, if I had to pick one over the other, then the RSQ is the easy choice.

@tommybhoy good to know, I ordered a pair from fasttech on your recommendation. I like the pulse bottle, looks nice and if it fits the rsq then that’s even better.

Hey all. So I've got a juice from brews bros, and it's a 250ml bottleshot to mix at 22.5% - I vape zero nic, so I've been advised to put 220.5g vg in and 18.75g Pg in. That is based on a ratio of 1.26ml/g VG and 1ml/g PG. Does this sound right? As it differs from make my vape calculator drastically but this is advice from a rep of the company, so just a bit confused and don't want to waste a good bottleshot! Thanks

My battlestar is on its last legs...

I am looking at the new Charon mini, it’s not on FT yet and cheapest I’ve seen on uk pre order is 50quid.

Worth pulling the trigger or waiting?

I haven’t taken the battlestar apart yet..but I think juice has seeped through behind the button making firing erratic and ramp up slow.

Let us know if they fit in the Rebel too :)
Lol that’s a good shout. I’ll post back if it does.

Just got to wait for fasttech to get them in stock. Should be end of week, also have a recurve rda on order as well. Looking forward to giving that a go as it’s meant to be a great squonk rda.

Was going to say they're in stock as according to the page they are(last night they weren't-eta 2days), so bought some from FT, however looking up my order it says eta 2 days-could have got them from 3FV on 24hr instead, not impressed by FT-those pesky cut price banditos.:p

Recurves good-but like everything else these days reviewersadvertisers gear isn't as amazeballs as the hype suggests, not having the 'vapes like a dual coil' in the slightest and it heats up like a raging inferno n takes 2 days to cool down, but it is good really-hope I haven't put you off:p

Seems like they are ready to ship, just had a look at my order.

Meh it’s been awhile since I’ve bought an rda so thought I’d give it a go. Reviews seem generally favourable and seem like mike vapes aka fakes as a lot of people call him, has hit it out of the ballpark.

I’m used to squonk attys getting hot, my genuine hadaly rda gets silly hot if I chain vape it lol.

If I don’t get on with the recurve then I’ll just sell it.
