***The Vapers Lounge*** 3.0

For 100ml bottles I use a single Nic shot, which according to the calcs works out to about 3mg.
So by that reckoning, 2½ shots would do you per 250ml.
However, be aware that it will alter your PG/VG ratio, depending on which the shot is based on. Usually they're VG, I find, which can be a problem in some MTL vapes.
Add 2x18mg nic shots to 100ml of e-juice for 3mg, 5 of them to a 250ml bottle (assuming thats 250ml of juice and not 200ml with space for 250ml)

Been on the 0mg for a over a week now. It's a bit strange really there is times i hammer it; but been on customer sites last few days and just got on with it no issues.

So I dropped my Voopoo drag 4 down the stairs and after many falls, this one was the one that did it (it still works, but the collar where the atty attaches is now wobbly and I suspect at risk of failing if I drop it again).

Now, I really like it, but as always there are opportunities for upgrades. Any recommendations? I quite liked that it was a bit more grown up looking with the black and walnut styling and the little leather pad. My older mods have been either a bit too garish or too industrial.

Anything like that which you'd recommend or should I just get another one?

Whats your budget and do you want to use sub ohm tanks or RTA's / RDA's? Personally my favorite regulated mod still available is the Odin V2 either the 200W or the 100W version are excellent

Well the drag 4 is less than £40 so am looking in that budget. I usually run about 0.32 Ohm RTA on it. I never go over 70W tbh. The Odin has that kind of styling that I'm trying to get away from, so I may well just stick with the drag 4 as it was great until it fell all the way down my staircase (again).

Recommend a geekvape l200, had quite a few mods over the years smok voopoo all fell apart pretty quickly, my geekvape has outlived the rest by a large margin.

I’m finally ready to quit smoking, I’ve tried vaping many years ago and it didn’t really work at the time as I just got addicted to vaping  I want to try again and try to not go so heavy with it, only when a craving kicks in. Can someone recommend a decent vape or are they all very much similar at the lower price range?

I will have a look through this thread as I’m sure mine is a very generic question!

Uwell Caliburn A2 POD
This is all I use now tbh, very very handy, refillable so find a salt nic based flavour and each "pod" lasts ages as well. It also mouth to lung hit like "traditional" smoking.

Went for an xros pro in the end, looked simple enough and couldn’t be bothered to stay in the shop for long  got some juice but I’m not a fan of all these sweet juices so need to go back and try and find something less sickly sweet. Cravings well at bay for the moment :)

Went on holiday and back on the (cheap) smokes thought stop when I come home of course not. Tried skip a few steps and go straigh to the 3mg vape.. didn't help was still smoking. Back on the 11mg and been a few days no smoke :) Got 11, 6, 3 , 1 and 0 in stock hopefully back on the way to quitting nicotine completly. (I was off completly for a few months before holiday).

Edit using a Xros pro and a couple of xros minis

Any old school vapers still about?

I have managed to lose my og Geekvape 100w mod (23650) and Kangertank sub tank (7ml) (i said i was old school lol).
This has been my main work vape for the past 7 or 8 years.

So i am looking for a RTA that has a decent capacity.
I am completely out of the loop but the Dead Rabbit seems to fit the bill, anyone any expierence of this RTA or can recommend a RTA with over 6ml capacity?

I only vape at 15w to 20w with a 0.4-0.6ohm single coil.
Restricted direct lung inhale but not a cloud chaser.

Wow i had a Kanger sub tank. That was years ago. They were great tanks and not too power hungry if i remember rightly.

I use 2 market leaders. kind of the best of the worst, Eleaf Ipower 2 mod with a Aspire Nautilus 3 / 2 ml tank.
The mod is 5000 mah so lasts long before recharge, doesnt like being dropped on a hard floor tho as will break its smart tech and warrenty only for 3 months.
The Nautilus tank doesnt leak is tricky to fill without spilling tho.
Of course I hear about alternatives they not useually market leaders so I stay with what have got.

Had the 5 and 7ml flavours before falling down the cloud blasting rabbit hole then back out.

Running a nautilis 3 these days, ootb its restricted but when i had to replace the glass the replacement wasnt bored down.

Does the job well enough, and coil consistency is a thing (always been my main bug with non rba's)

Same for me drippers/squonkers i had pretty much a carrier bag of atomizers the i ended up throwing away. Now i use a mtl innokin zlide, pretty humble but does the job.

I still have about 8 of the regular 4.5ml tanks and enough spare parts for about 10 more lol but i have found a 7ml tank lasts me most days at work.
I know since the TPD most capacities are 2.5ml but there should be some about over 6ml ;)

Not sure of thye capacity but the Asmodus Minikin Pod Kit gets great reviews and comes with a .3 and .8 ohm coil, built in battery and can be had below £60 for full kit

So E-liquids are going to be taxed at a flat £2.20 rate this time next year, seems like a bone headed move to me.

I was kind of expecting some level of taxation as they had to find some way to replace the lost revenue from tobacco sales, i did however expect them to start small and increase it overtime. Not for them to go straight in with an almost 90% increase in price for what i typical buy.

I get the desire to prevent children and people who've never smoked from taking up vaping but damn, a 90% increase seems excessive when better regulation and enforcement was an option.
