***The Vapers Lounge*** 3.0

Will be mixing up this later tonight! - http://www.lediypourlesnuls.com/vape-monsters-bloody-vampy/

3.1% Blackberry (TPA)
1% Cotton Candy (10% EM) (TPA)
3% Dragonfruit (TPA)
7.7% Harvest Berry (CAP)
4% Pomegranate (CAP)
1% Sweet Strawberry (CAP)
2% Sweetener (Sucralose) (TPA)

Swapping the Pomegranate to the v2 and I won't be adding any sweetener. Juice doesn't need it and it just destroys your coils.

Thanks for this suggestion. I left my setup on the train last night (MVP3 and Subtank Nano) and was very out of touch on what to go for as I tend to buy and then not keep up with new products.

Your suggestion sounded like it would fit the bill. I was never that impressed with the Subtank Nano so wasn't to bothered about replacing that and the X tank does get some favourable reviews so gonna give that a try. I did like the MVP3 and was all ready to reorder but after reading some reviews of the Cool Fire 4 I was swayed to giving this a try.

If I was to replace my existing setup it would have cost about 60 quid, your suggestions comes in at about 40. So saved me some pennies as well!

Glad I could help, just remember its not a sub ohm coil so works better with lower VG juice, I've had up to 70/30 in mine with no issue but 50/50 at 16 watts gives a nice throat hit and decent flavour

With the 4ml adaptor I can vape all day and night and don't have to fill until the next morning

Just picked up the Joyetech Ultimo. I normally use exclusively rebuildables, but the #1 complaint at work is coil longevity, so when I read the Ultimo has really good ceramic coils I thought I'd test drive one. First impressions weren't good, got a consistent burning above 40W, not quite cotton burnt but the ceramic was definitely drying out, and re-priming only solved it for a couple of hits. However, I swapped the coil out, and this time it's excellent, running at 60W it's probably the best pre-made coil I've ever tried, though granted I haven't tried the TFV8 or new Cleito. Heck it's better than my original Griffin! Just that first coil with the tank must have been a dud.

One caveat though, high VG. Works great with the Totallywicked 70/30 stuff, but that's made with aqueous VG, so it's a bit thinner. Using my DIY 75/25 with proper VG it doesn't give nearly as much flavour, I imagine 60/40 VG/PG is the optimum.

I also picked up the RTA deck for it, which looks pretty good, I've dropped a nice big coil in it but haven't used it yet because I'm so impressed with this ceramic head. Judging by the design though, it looks like it'll work very well, nice big holes for juice to flow in to an almost RDA -like well, with appropriate wicking I can imagine it'll be a clouds and flavour machine, and I have no doubts it'll take any VG.

I can't speak for longevity of the ceramic, but I'll update when it dies :)

Edit: The RBA deck is brilliant! Big coil, lots of wick, tuck it in, poke some space through the juice holes, sorted.

Are you mad, love the stuff - if it's never going to get used I won't say no!

Trust me your address and I'll get it posted to you. I ran completely out of liquid the other day and only had that left... I went and bought death sticks instead!

let me know how it is, sounds good.

Been looking at this as a nice small portable unit. Whats the difference between the Pico and the Pico Mega :)?

Also which shop is Ft"?

Pico is 75W max and only supports 18650 cells.

Pico Mega is 80W max (IIRC) but supports 18650 and 26650 cells.

FT is Fasttech. Great site for cheap tanks, RDA's and mods. Ships from China though so you'll be looking at 5-11 day delivery. My most recent order with them took 5 days to arrive after dispatching via DHL Global Mail.

Pico takes a single 18650 battery and does 75w.

Pico Mega takes a 22650 and has a sleeve to fit the smaller 18650, if you want. It's fatter in the hand and teardrop-shaped in plan-view. I think it has a higher wattage, maybe, but not by much.

FastTech.
Save money by ordering from overseas where, as I understand it, they acquire bulk lots of kit and sell it cheap.
Can take ages to arrive and many have the serial numbers and validation scratch-cards missing, though.

I pesonally prefer to support my local shop.

Thanks.

Looking at something small to get the wife, doesn't smoke at all normally then has a few drinks and smokes a few.

Thought I could get her a small vape for those occasions instead. :)

Checked out fasttech, doesnt seem worth it to save a tenner, maybe for higher value orders.

Finally got myself a good set up. I upgraded from my starter Vaptio P1 50W to this beast:

agbiXrj.jpg

-Joyetech Cuboid 150W (firmware upgraded to 200W)
-Smok TFV4 Limited Edition tank with TF-T3 (triple coil).
-Sony US18650VTC5 Li-Ion 18650 30A 2600mAh batteries

So far this set up has been amazing. Great taste and vapour production. Battery life is okay but it will not last long if you puff on it constantly and run a high wattage. The features of the Cuboid 150W are amazing with multiple temperature control settings and a informative OLED screen (which also has a puff counter).

The only issue with this is the 510 threaded spring connector will get stuck if you screw on your tank too much and you will get a "No Atomiser Detected" error which cannot be fixed as far as I am aware. This is my second one as I tried to fix the first one myself without returning it and broke it. So it's my own fault really.

My liquid of choice at the moment is Scripture Pinkman 6mg. It has a very similar taste to starburst :).

You seem to be the wizzard around these parts. Have you made a decent natural tasting peaches and cream?

FA Vienna Cream 2%
FA Peach 1.5%
FA White Peach 1.5%
FA Caramel 1%
FA Vanilla Classic 1%
FA Custard 0.5%

Not my recipe, it's HIC's from Vaping Underground. However I have used both Peach and White Peach in recipes before and it's by far the best tasting concentrate out there.

iirc the mega is 100w

Any serials or validation paperwork missing from ft orders will be clearly stated on the product page that these things are missing, its to stop manufacturers finding out who's selling them stock below their set price. :)

By all means support your local stores if they aren't all complete garbage :p

Thanks, strange seeing just one brand of concentrate being used and no sign of the dreaded Bavarian cream which is super strong stuff. :D

I don't know how people manage to get layers of flavour in their vapes so maybe it's achieved by using different peaches.

Can vouch for this, an excellent mix, as always with HIC. They're often fairly weak, he must have some super tastebuds, but you can just scale them up, or mix up a concentrate and add however much you like. His lemon meringue pie and double rainbow are amazing too.

I went looking for his take on a vanilla custard and found his vanilla silk pudding recipe. Since his recipes and notes have been so useful I thought I'd contribute and buy this, and OMG. It's the vanilla base I've been looking for, not a custard but it's perfect to tame the "harshness" of cap custard V2. It works with honey for milk 'n' honey, almond for almond milk, hazelnut and cocoa for ferrero rocher, INW coffee for a creamy latte, mmph it's so damn good!
