In need of some help/signposting ladies and gentlemen :)

My GF has asked for an e-cig for her birthday and I haven't the foggiest about them, though I have used a few. I noticed the better built/higher quality ones seem to be the ones with the fat hump. I think she would prefer the typical cylindrical shape but obviously not like those naff cigarette looking e-cigs. Would £50-100 be enough to get one and the necessary bits and bobs?

If she's just starting out id recommend a Joytech AIO. You can pick them up for around 20 quid, they're a decent starting device.

Depends on if she wants to mimic a cigarette and get the the throat hit or just go straight for sub ohm vaping
There are different products for both

I just made an order with RawVapes if anyone is interested in the outcome let me know and I'll post back

Wanted a new mod so decided to buy a Reuleaux RX200s which means I'm now on the hunt for some batteries.

I was going for some Samsung 25R's until I came across "Vipertech" on Amazon and Ebay which claim to be selling "Authentic" Sony VTC5's, on both sites they have pretty much 100% feedback but can't help feeling hesitant due to all the clones of them going around.

Where do you guy's get your batteries from?

Efest tear-resistant are also pretty good... they're re-wrapped LG HG2s mostly though and some mods have problems with them... they work well in RX200/RX200S/DNA200... but they don't work at all in my Triade DNA200.

I buy mine wholesale... but you should be safe buying from any company with a good reputation.

Personally i buy batteries from Torchy on Ebay (get a discount for being on the same forums as him) .
For HB6's , VCT4's etc i buy from AkkuTeile in Germany , why ? because it was 1 of the places that Mooch recommended.
I am sure there are places selling genuine VTC5's or places that believe they are selling genuine VTC5's but for me not worth the risk , especially since they are normally expensive.

For an RX id be looking at getting some Samsung 30Q or LG HG2 batteries. The new Sony VCT6 are pretty good too. Those 3 will give you better battery life than using VCT4/5 or 25R. The higher current capacity of those isn't needed on a device like the RX

Ecolux on eBay or http://ecoluxshopdirect.co.uk/

I wouldn't recommend Efest batteries to anyone, nor would I use them. They publicly said Mooch (who does very thorough battery testing) was a liar. Their so-called 3000mAh 35A battery was actually a 10A cell (LG MH1).

For everyone's safety in this thread, please do NOT use Efest cells.

I second this. I have a set of 30Q and HG2's which I use regularly for my RX's. Yet to try the VTC6's.

You do have to be a little careful... but the same with a lot of batteries.

Like you mention, some of their batteries really didn't live up to their claims.

All new batches from this year of the tear-resistant variant though are re-wrapped LG HG2s so nothing to worry about and the tear-resistant coating should see them last a bit longer.

The only mod I have that they don't work in is the Triad.

I bought a Aspire Nautilus X tank a couple of weeks ago and was initially very impressed but in the last few days it has started to leaked quite badly from the air vent at the top so getting a fair amount of juice on my lips and mouth. When it first happened I thought maybe I was over filling it so dropped down to half a tank when filling but the problem has continued.

Has any one else had this problem? Could I maybe have lost a part during filling?

Cheers

Leaking or spitting whilst vaping?

Where are you getting that information from?

If they're guaranteed to be HG2s, why would you not get genuine HG2s instead of some re-wrapped jobbies by Efest?

You only need to Google to find that what they're promising in their cells, is complete BS.

Could be that the coil is on it's way out, and lost its wicking capability? Try changing the coil mate. Make sure everything is tightened properly too, sometimes the o-rings can come loose.

Guys, I'm using a Smok M22 and a Nautilus mini. What would be a reasonable upgrade for this (in terms of vapour production etc) for not too much money (say £50?)

Yeah i have heard bad things about Efest batteries, wouldnt touch em and glad i was told to just go for somit decent like samsung 30q ones, which on the pico lasts about a day at 30-40 watt, chain vaping.

As i have recommended before, ill put up the pico 75w and melo 3 mini as a good tank and mod. Great vapor production and decent in almost every way (from my view).
