***The Vapers Lounge*** 3.0

How about the Sigelei 213? I got one the other day and I really like it. I've seen comments elsewhere about TC not working as it should but I've been using it on TC with SS coils and it's been fine. Works great in power mode. About the same size as a cuboid 150 but a fair bit lighter (222g vs 297g without atty). Looks ace and feels very comfy in the hand.

Was you aware of all the drama that went on with sigelei, when a youtuber named DJLsb Vapes pointed out the flaws on the sigelei 213? I was under the opinion that no one would touch a sigelei if they was giving it away

No, I wasn't aware of this before I bought it. I tried to watch the video on YouTube just now but found the guy really irritating. From what I can gather from other sources, the main issues were that it won't do 213W (apparently only 155W) and that TCR temp settings weren't working. Also, it appears Sigelei didn't react well and abused the guy.

I'm not sure if the firmware on the latest ones fixes the TC issues or not (firmware on mine is v1.9) but mine works fine in SS316 mode. The fact that the firmware isn't upgradeable is very poor.

As for the wattage claims; I tend to take most wattage claims with a pinch of salt anyway - regardless of manufacturer. When I bought the device, I said the same thing to myself that I always say regarding devices with high wattage claims. "213W from 2 batteries - unlikely but I'm never going to need anywhere near 213W." The highest I've ever vaped at was 125W and that was for a brief time on a 0.11 ohm build for a laugh. The highest I've regularly vaped is 100W and, at the moment, I'm vaping at 60W on a 0.2 ohm build. This is the level I'm mostly at.

The worst thing is the company's reaction. The abuse the guy apparently received is inexcusable. Having said that, if I refused to buy products from companies that reacted badly to bad reviews, I probably wouldn't own much stuff.

For what it's worth, the Sigelei 213 works well for me and I really like it. It's nice to look at and very comfortable in the hand.

So whats a good RDTA for me to try?
Not updated any of my gear for a couple of years now.
Still running a goblin mini and a velocity dripper as my carries.
Fancy trying the RDTA (like the velocity decks, but that only as I'm used to them)

Being a 40 a day smoker I have just bought my first vaper its the Smok H-PRIV 220w using Vampire vape PINKMAN 6mg. First try I managed to burn my lips!! Must be doing something wrong :)

The tank that comes with that kit is designed to be inhaled direct to lung (or DTL). It's possible that you're trying to inhale it mouth to lung (MTL), which doesn't provide enough air to cool it down.

If you're inhaling it like you're sucking on a straw, try inhaling it as though you're breathing in through it (quite fast as well), that may fix your problem.

Thank you for the reply I have it sorted now I dropped the wattage to 65 seems to have sorted it. Quite enjoying it been up 4hrs and not 1 ciggie.

Me and the wife have just given up (bout 40 a day 4wks and 3wks respectively).
Shes on pinkman 12mg I'm on various 12mg, no problems changing over. She's using endura t18e, I'm using a nautilus mini, technique is different from smoking a normal but you'll soon adapt. Fire button, suck into mouth, finger off button when you hear the bubbling bout 1-2 seconds.

Get yourself a nautilus mini, with 1.8 ohm coils you'll need to run between 11-14 watts.
I tried a year ago but running wrong juice and setup, burnt lips seriously coughing so I didn't stick with it.

Just ordered an IJoy MAXO, quad 18650 315w mod to replace my dead RX200.

Use coupon code MAP on FT to get it for £39.98 (less then half price of UK retail!)

Take the cap off and squeeze the bottle 4 or 5 times to let fresh air in, replace the cap and leave it. Do this for a couple days and it should settle down.

The harshness is probably from the ethanol in the concentrate which needs to evaporate.

I'll have to give this a go, I've had 3 x 100ml bottles of various flavours arrive from Jackamoo and they all have more of a throat hit than I'm used to.

Just spent a weekend with my new Smok Alien kit.

The best thing Smok have ever made. A genuinely cool, informative and easy to use interface and a really sleek and stylish design. Went for the gunmetal grey version and it genuinely looks stunning.

The TFV8 Baby tank is... less cool. I own the standard TFV8 and whilst it's the best cloud chasing tank I've used, the flavour is pants. It's very much the same with the Baby though the flavour isn't quite so shoddy.

Settled on pairing it with my Cleito 120 and it's superb.

Just a small issue where the first click won't register and you'll be sucking on air. Happens 1 in every 100 pulls I'd say. Can probably be fixed with a firmware update.

Goblin Mini V3 turned up today. Looks very nice. Build quality is good and I'm looking forward to building it with the single coil deck. Will report back once I've vaped it a bit tonight.

Got mine on Thursday. Really enjoying it so far. Deck is big enough to fit claptons in there and wicking is a breeze. Good flavour too.

I have the Limitless RDTA plus and I love it. Nice big velocity style deck and a good sized tank for juice. Looks good too.
^ Same here!!
Be sure to get the Plus version, though - Guy at work didn't listen to me and got the first one, then came asking for my help in coiling/wicking it up... Pain in the flippin' proverbial, it was. Only very tiny, small little niggles, but for some reason it was just awful and so less pleasurable than my Plus.
