Just for giggles put the ce5 at the left hand side of you mouth, press lips down then breath in from the right hand side like Popeye :D try it

Haha, Just tried it. That's ace :D It's all in the technique. I get much more vapour off the cherry compared to the virginia though. Any idea what that's all about?

I think it's just getting used to them. I've only just started out doing it because I want stop smoking altogether.
Leave the tops off for a day then tops back on and shake the bottle now and then also keep in a dark place.

I hope to go down from 24mg to 8mg then have no nicotine in the juice.

Sorry chaps, newbie alert but finding it hard to trawl the thread for some very basic info so any help appreciated as know nothing about any of this being a non smoker myself.

I have 2 daughters, 21 and 19, both smoking. One on roll ups and the other on packet cigarettes. I have said that I will pay to set them up with an ecigarette alternative if they promise to give up and switch as I believe it is healthier than normal smoking.

Can you recommend the best kit to get them going? I think at this stage just the basic cigarette lookalike /taste type rather than the other paraphenalia and flavours etc

Thanks for any help..

The most commonly recommended starter kit would be an Ego or Ego-T type, for example:

http://www.vapeescape.co.uk/the-ve-riva-1100-deluxe-kit~151

All you need to get cracking for quite some time (2 batteries, and cartomisers also included) except for e-liquid -- of which there are about 2838482722728339 different places and flavours to try. :D

Ok, many thanks for that will have a read. Do they do one's that look like actual cigarettes? I might have more chance of getting them to use those at least initally..

the ones that look like real cigs are rubbish and taste poor. I wasted hundreds on them over a few months ( mainly the throwaway ones that were only lasting me one night at £4.99 each)

get these http://www.vapeland.co.uk/ego-t-ce5-black-starter-kit-900mah-97-p.asp

then its just up to them what flavour liquids they want, the best ones ive tried are grants vanilla custard, scopes raspberry and apple tart, el cigarillos ( from house of liquid, that ones the best tobacco flavoured one) with those 4 flavours thats me sorted, i have 3 batteries and 3 clearomisers which i charge some while using the other. :)

I'm very new to vaping, started this weekend actually, and I actually have one of these when i out in the pub ect which i use, until i decide to go full eGo that is. :p
(I have the starter kit that Scorchisio posted, for all other times and its great)

http://www.totallywicked-eliquid.co.uk/products/tecc-branded-goods/microlite-ecig-products.html

Its not too bad, not as cheap as the kits posted above, to buy or to run, but one of the better 'look-a-likes' imo.

*Please dont hate me vapists!*

Received my Stainless Vamo yesterday along with a Kanger Protank.

Have to say for the money it's a great bit of kit.

I like the more airy draw you get from the Kanger (compared to the iclear 30 and 16), plus it looks the best as well.

Really please I bought this mod it does the job very good indeed especially running it in wattage mode.

Also my Keeppower 3400mAh 18650 batteries fit a treat.

:)

One of the IT guys at work walked up to my desk today (they call him John the pipe because he smokes a pipe) and plonked a SS vamo with an iclear.30 on it on my desk. It's his first ecig. I think techy people are predisposed to get really into vaping because we're used to doing lots of research and fiddling :p

I know what you mean. If you do your own research you soon give up the idea of a ciggalike and move right onto egos or better. I never really thought about it looking like a cig but I knew pretty fast from the research I wanted an Ego. This was a good long time back now so an ego was really something still pretty new.

I've read and talked to a few people about ciggalikes and it seems you can get good ones now but that they cost a lot still compared to egos and the like.

The jac vapour v1p Pcc kit is very good for a cigarette lookalike starter kit. Just remember to add a spare battery with each kit, and get medium or high strength carts with it.
They're a very good company as well, great customer service.
There's probably a discount code if you google jac vapour.

Given up waiting for my Boge DCT's.. Got a brand new Carto into my Smoktech DCT after giving it a good clean getting rid of that menthol taste and stuck in some GVC (Grants Vanilla Custard) 50/50 12 MG..

First impressions are that it definitly smells nicer than what It tastes, Don't get me wrong it's nice and sweet/creamy with a little kick to it but nothing god like (That's just my opinion) seem to have only got on woth Watermellon and Menthol not having been a menthol smoker but menthol is unbetable for me.

Will keep vapping it for a few days, having only using 8MG and PG based stuff Grants is giving me a funny head for a few minutes! Im sure ill adapt to it.

Keeping my used Carto in an air tight cointainer which should keep it moist? Even though it has been used for a week or so sitting in a container it should be fine when I choose to reuse right?

Found where I am at with vaping.. Dual Coil tanks, VV Ego-C (joytech no knock off) definitly quality over the so called Joytech Twist I had originally.

Dual coil is definitely my preference. I'm on the hunt for a dual coil tank that I can easily rewick. The iclear30 my colleague had looked like it could be rewicked, but twisting the legs together at the bottom without shorting the coil looks tricky.

Hey Scorchisio, Did you get my email? :)

He didn't reply to mine too. Although I have lots of ejuice

Also got my £30 dreamdraw today. :)

Great, I was worried it won't. Got a link where you got it from...only if they do button top ones?

OOh i see shiny steel :)
Isnt it funny how we start out on a basic setup like an Ego-t etc... and soon want VV, VW, Atomizers, Tanks, Mods etc....
So reminds me pc upgrades etc.... instead of looking at the MM on here, i find myself browsing the Vaping forums classifieds now, just to get a hand on on the different parts/terminology involved in vaping ;)

also if anyone wants to get rid of any unwanted e-juice, give me a trust and we can have a chat ;)

Anyone know where I can buy aluminium spacers for an Xtar SP2 charger? Need them to charge 18350 batteries and Google isn't finding them for me.

Also, a frustrating evening of vaping for me. I'm down to my last bottle of eliquid, an 11mg Fennel of which I think no flavouring was added! I'm getting the nicotine hit and plenty of vapour but there is no taste whatsoever. Is the first time I've experienced this in 12 months of vaping. Anyone else experienced a dud eliquid?
