Atomizers sometimes have a break in time too. They ain't all the same either, sometimes they have enough of a difference in resistance to be noticeable. It is a bit of luck more than anything. Did you blow out the new one? If not it likely still has a good bit of primer left in it. This is more noticeable in tanks than 510 thou, as the mesh in a tank can hold loads of juice (or primer) so if you vape it without blowing out it can take 30 min - hour until you get the juice from the tank.

Always blow out before trying anything else with an atomizer, it is the safest (not going to break it) way to clean them and the only one that doesn't invalid your guarantee. Dry burning normally works but can burn it out too. Flushing and boiling you aren't allow to return after doing but I don't know that they could really tell...

This primer thing is over enphasised, it hardly noticeable really, even if you don't clean it out.
Burnt wick is the main culprit of bad taste. ;)

Plus Jester is spot on really bushmins, especially if the same ammount of vapour was being produced, then it must be the juice. PG and nicotine mainly give the throat hit as far as I am aware.
Oh and higher volts battery or lower resistance atty, may give more oomph.

He's not complaining of bad taste, he is complaining of lack of throat hit - something primer could certainly be responsible for :p

It depends, on tanks the primer tastes of nothing to me, but it takes a long time for the juice to get in. On my first 510s it tasted horrible.

Lets also remember that "primer" is actually just "the juice they used to test it/loaded it with to stop it dry burning on first use". :)

So, in short, they could have used any juice to prime it. :)

Im definatally getting more hit now ive been using it for a while.
The juice i was using was Totally Wickeds Decadent Vapour Premier Range 11mg, so no idea if its PG or VG. Just premixed stuff.

It's PG.

Quite like the Vermillion River Juicy Stripe Illusion, I've been vaping today. Has a bit more of a citrus flavour than I was expecting from it, though definately taste's like the Wrigley's gum.
Maybe the Fruity Stripe gum, tastes more lemony?

It is 10% VG, the rest is PG and flavour. The amount of flavour depends which flavour it is but mostly it is about 10-15%. It was likely a mix of primer and just needing to get 'burnt in'. Sometimes atomizers take a bit to come into their own. I don't know the reason why but it happens.

not smoked since friday the rehab for my lungs aint so good though, coughing up all sorts of nasties, guess it's just my lungs on the repair.

Going to try and stay well away from those nasty things.

"Totally Wicked's Decadent Vapour range is the premier e-juice on the market. Formulated entirely from EU-sourced ingredients and manufactured in the UK, it combines the highest quality, UK-produced pharmaceutical-grade nicotine, pharmaceutical-grade Propylene Glycol BP, and the highest quality natural and nature-identical flavours."

Can't see any mention of VG there?

I used to use TW though, prefer other vendors by far.

Higher nicotine then 11mg will give better throat hit, b.t.w.

But may also give headaches/nausea.

I'm using TW's flavourless e-smoking liquid 36mg, mixed with PG to 11mg and 20% DV flavour. Plenty of throat hit there. :)

and itchyness.

More nicotine will give a more powerful kick. ;)

Everything is relative to the user. :)

Higher nicotine strength equals bigger throat hit in general terms.
E-liquid with a higher PG content will give more throat hit than VG. Plus a higher voltage battery will also give you more throat hit.

Forest Fruits 25mg 50/50 PG/VG, my own recipe today.
Then for this evening some RY4 from ivapour-elixir 24mg 50/50 PG/VG. Yum yum. The best RY4 in UK along with Cloud 9's.

:D iAtty rocks. :D Best vaping experience in my two years experience. :D By quite some margin. :D UFS beater. :D

Im using this as a way to reduce my addiction to nicotine, so lower strength the better. Im not interested in a massive throat hit or massive plumes of vaper. but no throat hit what so ever was terrible!

The guy who makes it has posted the formula before on the TW forums.

Ah, o.k. you taliking about Nick?
TW are get the DV range from DV; obviously. Decadent Vapours U.K. currently only mix a purely PG juice, a purely VG and a 50/50 mix.

*Edit. Ah, TW get theirs mixed to 10/90 as you say. Sorry.

I much prefer the mix DV do for iVapour-elixir.co.uk of 50/50 PG/VG, also they do purely Pg or VG mixes.

On my RY4 now. Wow, I hated this stuff before; though as they say your every RY4 is different. Love this one in the evenings. :)

Yeah I was referring to Nick. I only mix my own now pretty much. I'm about 50/50 PG/VG mostly. But for a long time I did 10-20% VG too PG. I'm still a fairly newish Vaper, a bit under a year. I ain't experimented too much really yet. Been eyeing up some other sites for flavours but they'll need to wait until I come back from my holidays, just can't afford to buy stuff I don't 'need' right now. I have loads of juice in the vaping cupboard.

What's the vaping like between 50:50 and 10:80 vg/pg? I'm using pure PG at the mo and I get a decent amount of vapour from my tornado-t. Though it mostly depends on how I drag, and the temperature in the room. I'm wondering if I add a bit of VG it'll give lots more vapour?

You'll see an increase in vapour by adding even 10% VG. 100% PG with DV menthol which is just menthol no added mintiness or anything has like almost no vapour at all. VG mixes just work better with some flavours too. I find VG makes it a bit more smooth, don't get a scratchy feeling from vaping with it.
