Maybe try something a bit lower strength. I like 12mg myself, but it's all personal taste really. I'll mix something up for you if you like?

If it's firing, have you tried loosening the clearos on the battery? Could be that there's no airflow. My mini novas need a bit more air than when tightly screwed onto an ego battery. If the problem is airflow, another option to increase it is by sticking an ego 510 adapter between the battery and the clearo.

If airflow is OK but no vapour, it's probably worth checking the resistance of the atomiser. I've had a few atomisers reading well over 5ohms!!

If 16MG irritates you're throat badly, Id try 8MG that's what I vaped on 6MG not a strong enough throat hit, but 8 seems to be good for me, 12MG is too much I find.

Just bought some RY4 from Vape Escape, it's a nice change would maybe like a more caramel type RY4 in my opinion this is more tobacco.

And some Vape Escape Menthol I haven't tried yet.

Past week and a half ive had a bug, throat feels like Im swallowing glass, horrific type of bug when you want to vape all your new juices!

Ahh dude id love that <3 literally cant afford to start paying for more juices to experiment till on pay day. 8mb will be great how much you want me to pay for it i just need something smooth with a smooth throat hit. 16mg is obviously to strong lol i didnt think the nicotine would hurt the way it does.

First i tried 24mg LOL.... im so bad i was thinking that id be fine. I guess that having a month away from smoking before getting the vamo makes that much of a difference also.

That feeling is what most people would class as throat hit. Throat hit is irritation that people like. TH is almost all down to the nicotine, people will tell you it is partly the PG / VG but that is a tiny effect compared to the nic content.

Having said that it was worse for me when I first changed to ecigs from cigs so your throat does get used to it. At the time I wasn't sure if it was part of the healing from changing since I was coughing up a lot of yuk too.
 
I removed the top wick from my Protanks today, (like how Pbusardo suggests, skip to about 7.45) makes a massive difference. Much nicer vape now.


Also, i find about 5-8w depending on the juice is perfect for me, Protanks with 2-2.2ohm heads. Anymore and it quickly tastes burnt.
 
First night out without analogues - thought I'd see how the Vamo performed in public. Most people oblivious, other than the standard double-take for exhaling a cloud indoors. Didn't bother with mini mode as there's not that much difference in the Vqmo and I'd rather have the extra range.

The one idiot that did feel the need to point out I appeared to be "sucking on a *****" later felt very sheepish, as it turned out he and his drinking buddies have to salute my best mate... :rolleyes:

if anyone wants to send me an empty sample bottle along with a self addressed prepaid envelope id be happy to let them try some of my selection, ive got scopes strawberry, raspberry caramel and apple tart. grants vanilla custard. caramel. sprite, pineapple. orange tango to try.
 
Just to let you know, scorchisio and j.col -- I haven't forgotten about you, but our finance dept. haven't paid the bloody postage bill for the franking machine in the office. So your packages are in my drawer while we wait. I might be going into town myself on Saturday so might pop to the post office then instead.

no problem pal. wheres the best place to get cheap clearomisers. i got 2 rebuildable ones and they do not draw at all. it was like trying to suck a football through a garden hose. Very frustrating. anyone had this happen to them?

I don't have any sample bottles (only got my Vamo yesterday!), but if you could let me know where to get them, or how much you'd want, I'd be happy to pay a reasonable amount to try the Raspberry Caramel & Apple Tart (actually, Sprite, Orange Tango, Pineapple & Caramel all sound fantastic too!):D

I'm tempted to get a selection of 5ml samples from Vapeescape to see what flavours I like, before placing a larger order, but the costs quickly add up.:p

I only have about 22ml of Apple (Med Nicotine, from Vapeland) left, so I need to order it's replacement and make sure I have a decent supply, as my wife is considering joining me in replacing the analogues! :rolleyes:
