That's why I buy 54mg nic instead of 72mg. I know I'm being a pansy, but it just allows for errors if I make a maths mistake when mixing or have a big spill.

I've noticed some modders use steel cable instead of mesh wick, and it apparently gives no hot spots, is there any reason why wound guitar strings wouldn't work in that case?

I sort of agree with you although the difference between 54 and 72 is not that much and also for some reason the 72mg stuff is available cheaper than the 54mg + it will last longer than the 54mg....

Its still only 5.4 / 7.2% compared to 100% nicotine so unless you stupidly spilled a whole load of it on yourself it would prob be OK... When I get some I am going to buy some surgical gloves as well to avoid spills on hands.

That's excellent - should take some of the guess work out of coiling with different gauges.
Thanks for sharing mate.

Will add that in when I get to a pc. Good find!

This is better for micro coilers, problem is that it isn't an App and is a Windows application and is in Francais.

So how can a drop of caffiene or nicotine in such high concentration kill you? I am sooooooo interested to know!!!

lol

I do not think a drop of caffeine would kill you though... Because a cup of coffee can have 100mg in it.... More like grams of caffeine which would be a lot of drops....

I think they would be too fine a cable to wick well. Most of the cables are quite thick fibres. I've tried this, and while ti does wick very well, the "no hotspots" is a lie, and they are big heatsinks and take a lot of battery power to get hot. I had mixed feelings about them.

Well thanks for all the help on whether I should get the Vision spinner ppl :/

TBH I don't think anyone here uses one, so that may be why you haven't had any feedback on it. Try UKV, you're bound to find someone over there with a strong opinion on the matter ;)

Ill buy yours as im after one;)...let me know if you are serious.

yup, serious and I'm selling mine without the broken cup too which quite a few people have managed to break and costs £10 odd to replace:p

Probably won't be doing the sale any good but whilst it is a beautiful looking atty and well engineered it is far too fiddly and the ease of use is not as straightforward as a Kayfun.

I don't see any benefit to the juice control when something like the Kayfun just works without having to faff around twisting things.

Then there is the issue of the clear tank, I like to see my colourful juices and know when the tank is running low, I can't do that with my favourite adv (snake oil) as the tank cracks with it.

I cannot offer any guidance on the spinner but my step up from the standard Ego batteries was this:

http://www.apolloecigs.co.uk/ego-variable-voltage-p/abegov.htm

Seems a bit better quality than the spinner and ramps up to 6v if needed, also shows you how much charge you have left. I still use mine with an Evod and it works absolutely fine, still going strong after 6 months use and their customer service is very good should you have a problem.

If you decide to get one then use the code "winter" for 15% discount.

Looking at the spinner and the more expensive VV devices such as VAMO or itaste it makes me wonder if there is any real world performance difference between them. I mean if you have a 1300mah battery and it is adjusted to the correct voltage / wattage then I do not see how it can be any worse / better... Quite cool having an LCD screen and being able to adjust in watts but I would think that they would perform exactly the same? Unless you get one that dynamically adjusts to keep the wattage the same, but I do not think the VAMO and iclear do that? What you are getting with the VAMO would be no performance increase over a cheaper spinner other than looks / durability and replaceable batteries?

I've never used a spinner but I remember them breaking a lot a year or so ago when they were newish, I'm not 100% sure that might have been the twist (basically same thing different brand)

They will look better than a vamo with smaller atties like the Evod. A vamo or the like looks better with the bigger atties. The vamo and the like have replaceable batteries and you can get my higher mah. I don't think there is a right or wrong only what suits you.

VV / VW is a big step up imo Instead of changing the res of the attie to suit you you can just click a button / turn a dial and get what you want from the vape.

Thanks, Think I will pick up a spinner 1300mah and see what difference the VV makes. Other than replaceable batteries / durability, I do not see why anything above the Spinner would actually give better performance for vaping.. With a Protank 2 and a Spinner I guess you can get 95% as good performance as pretty much anything else with a VV battery and Clearomiser... Although I could be wrong....
