I ended up ordering...

Pulse g Atty
I2 charger

Was told not to order batteries as it will get stopped by customs so just got to find them cheap in the UK :)

Thanks for the tips guys, and the asda little angels! I gotta go out and work, be back tonight, have just a couple of questions for you guys when I return about different kanthal gauges for 3 different devices unless one size fits all, and about dremel bits and gauge needles.

I'm your Man.

I've had my kayfun lite + and Zmax for about a week now, i'm still experimenting with coils and wick though.

I fancy trying another atty, a genesis or dripper. Can anyone recommend one? One that gives awesome flavour, warm vapor? I need something to use while i play with the KFL :D

Igo-W dripper will be the best tenner you spend. 2 x 8 turns of 0.25mm/30AWG A1 Kanthal around a 2.5mm drill bit or shoulder bolt will give you just about 1.2 ohms.

Or for another genny, the Kraken (£120 genuine or £18 FT clone) is excellent - option for single coil, U Wick, dual coils and airflow control make it a good, versatile and shexy lump of SS (the finish and grade of which being the only difference).

Yay drippers

You are indeed RedMogg, you have a reputation for knowing your stuff round these 'ere parts!

So, about kanthal. If I'm going to be recoiling and wicking an IGO-W, the Kayfun and my evod, what gauge wire do I need for each, and that would be easiest to work with? Do I need to buy two different gauges, like one size gauge for both the IGO-W and kayfun (0.28 or 0.30mm?) and a thinner gauge for the evod (0.25 or 0.20mm)?

About dremel bits to wrap coil around, I'll buy a dremel set like the one djjuk linked.

But in this link which I found somewhere earlier in this thread,

http://allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/thread/32981/kayfun-3-microcoil-cotton-guide

the guy building the microcoil also uses a 14 gauge needle that he transfers the coil to from the dremel bit. Do I need a 14 gauge needle or would one of the dremel bits do?

Btw, no organic little angels cotton at asda. Just says 100% cotton.

one area you should never skimp on is the battery and charger, beware of vendors selling fakes. If you want cheaper, reputable, branded batteries then torchythebatteryboy on UKV does them at reasonable prices. He has his own branded ones too if you don't want Efests. I have his 18350 battery and they have been solid performance wise so far.

Woohoo... hello, fellow vapers.

I switched about 3 months ago and have only had a couple of stinkies when drunk. Currently puffing some lovely Bazooka Joe Bubblegum flavour e-juice on my eGo evod :)

any recommendations on good liquid? i've tried the usual snake oil/scorpions blood etc.. but now im fancying something really sweet, that isn't custard flavour. any thoughts?

Have a look at These

Im not a fan of sweet stuff, but I do like the Papillon ORGANIC SWEET SPICE and also the ORGANIC CARAMEL & CREAM they are both delicious.

Clear tank for the Temon to fit the Micro stick;)

Bit of a pain to make as the wall thickness is only .022" thick! Works fine tho, had a full tank through it, no leaks :D

I use 28awg or 0.3mm kanthal for microcoils on my Kayfuns.
10 wraps around a cocktail stick will give you 1.5oHms. (u dont need to use a dremel bit, anything can be used, a 2mm bolt, cocktail stick, ear bud stalk, a nail whatever u have to hand will do)
I use 32awg or 0.2mm for recoiling evod/protank and clearos as its thinner.

Using thicker kanthal enables you to have more wraps with a lower oHm.
eg.
10 wraps of 28awg is 1.5ish ohms
10 wraps of 32awg will give you 3.0ish ohms
And the point of microcoils is to have the wick in contact with as many coils as possible.

Also to me, that cotton looks fine

Which of those genny's give the hottest vapour? Not looking for clouds, just hot, flavoursome vapour ;)

Is the Pulse G worth a look, seems to have decent reviews from what i've seen?

Wilkos is good for cotton. Bought a big bag today of large organic wool balls for £1.50 :)

I highly rate Vaping King's juice...very nice.

Yes! So far I've had their MDV666, Monkey Jizz, Apple Danberry, Cool Apple, Kings Custard, Cinnamon Swirl and something else... The MDV666 and Apple Danberry are my new daily vapes, absolutely sublime.

Just remember to steep them for a week for a 10 mil and 2 weeks for the larger bottles.

The cottons fine, been using it ages and zero taste from it. The pleat stretches with less fuss than balls...

You're spot on with your Kanthal choices - get it from www.vape-atomizer-mesh.com

You can microcoil around just about anything, but I've found M2.5 & 3.0 shoulder bolts (20mm length) offer a good head to grip and thread spacing is spot on for keeping the wire tight and together.
Just remember to flame the whole length of the piece you're coiling, red hot, to lose some of the springiness from it.
Add an extra turn to what you want, as it's easier to take it off than add another on later.
Keep the bolt/drillbit in place when you install it into the atty so the coil doesn't get pulled out of shape...

There's plenty of tutorials on YouTube, but I recommend AndyW's "MicroCoiling the KFL" tutorial - he's very thorough on the method of coiling.

Pulse-G is also excellent. The chamber reducer makes a big difference and the fact you can remove it to dual coil makes it very versatile. The FT clone is worth it just for the driptip.
