Poll: The Vega Review Thread.

What do we think about Vega?

  • What has AMD been doing for the past 1-2 years?

  • It consumes how many watts and is how loud!!!

  • It is not that bad.

  • Want to buy but put off by pricing and warranty.

  • I will be buying one for sure (I own a Freesync monitor so have little choice).

  • Better red than dead.

If you chaps can prove that you get different scores to those you see in reviews with identical hardware components, software versions, and test configuration then you have a point - and should challenge the reviewer directly, as they do sometimes make mistakes. Otherwise, the simpler and likelier explanation is that without replicating their set-up and testing exactly, you're bound to get different scores.

The above is one of the reasons I do have so many components, so I can test under identical conditions as I have little faith left in some reviewers.

My case now is Corsair 750D I can support 280 Rad... Price is much but you know what the more I think about it once I buy the Red, Pump/Res etc I can just keep using them. Only GPU plate I need to rebuy each GPU upgrade.

Each time in the past when I buy new CPU/MB I normally also buy a new case but I really need to stop it because I have 3 Corsair cases atm lol Corsair Carbide 540 AIR This a Excellent case, only let down by storage.

Invest in koolance quick disconnects and coloured tubing and it makes changing components dead easy and you don't have to drain the loop every time.:)

Thanks just had a look they look cool :D I going to do what Tony has done and make sure they is a easy drain tap thingy also.
Kap mind posting a image of your setup?

Thanks

I have 4 watercooled PCs.

Mine tend to be a bit ugly as I use them for testing stuff so things get swapped around.

Here is a pic NVidia have used for facebook of my 6950X and 4 way Pascal Titans

The cards in the pic above are now watercooled and on an open test bench.

Here is another PC with a 5960X and 4 way Maxwell Titans.

My Fury X PC looks exactly the same as the one above but with a red interior.

Taken from oc site...how come the 56 has that many shaders ?
