Our launch models feature new GTX1070 (replaces GTX980M) and will be followed over the coming weeks with the arrival of more models with GTX1060(replaces GTX970M)

We are offering very strong specifications and pricing compared to other brands and have focussed on the higher end of performance for our first 2 models in the UK market.

The following 3 units will arrive very soon:

Aside from the obvious "can you make them a bit cheaper?" question, how loud are these when gaming? I want to replace my MSI GT60 with something that doesn't sound like an airplane taking off after 15-20 minutes.

I am particularly interested in the 1060 model, but might go for a 1070 if they arent too loud

There will be reviews over the coming days and I am sure they will quantify noise levels.

As with any performance machine, there will be heat and cooling fan noise, but its subjective to say what is acceptable, so we have to leave this to the media.

I've got my eyes on the stealth 1060 model GS63VR, my only concerns right now are the battery life.. And whether or not its worth going for the 4k model.

Thunderbolt 3 support??

Okay get back to me when you start putting TB3 in your laptops. I can't believe you are still overlooking Thunderbolt 3... looks like I will go MSI again.

EXACTLY!

Currently not, our R&D choose different connection options at this time, including HDMI 2.0 which is compatible with HDCP and enables 4k output at 60Hz for enhanced video and audio experiences.

TB3 has not been overlooked.

TB3 has definitely been overlooked otherwise by any sense and my understanding of logic TB3 would be part of your lineup? And wtf has HDMI 2.0 got to do with the price of fish?

Can you get your R&D team to look up the benefits of TB3? Not sure they know what it is;)

You are correct that HDMI 2.0 is not at all related to the price of fish.

The point we are making is that there is limited space on a mainboard for connectivity.

Thanks for the feedback,

Yet MSI manage it...

Thanks for your feedback

TB3 / USB-Type C is a game-changing port and will be significant to the market during 2017 and beyond, which is when I assume you want your new high-end gaming laptops to be used.

Your competition offer it, and you don't.

Exactly. It's such a massive oversight. Anyone buying a gigabyte over the competition, in this case MSI, would have to be major fools that don't like their money.

Ahhh such a shame, i like the GB models!!! Don't look as "childish" as the 14inch MSI units.

TB3 is a must have for me. I would ditch HDMI for it anyday and use a Thunderbolt to DisplayPort cable for hooking up to my monitor and im sure most of your target audience for these gaming laptops would be happy with that too.

Don't listen to the rep here. His logic is flawed! The MSI laptops have HDMI output AND thunderbolt 3! The excuse about HDMI literally was a pointless excuse...
