I just finished episode 1 and now my save has completely vanished what the hell telltale?

There's two places where saves are stored, in the /steam/common folder and in My Documents. Just paste the latest saves in both (one folder will be up to date, the other won't), it's an annoying bug but your saves aren't gone.

Just finished the game too, I really loved it, its just a shame the actual choices you make dont alter the game in any meaningful way, it would have made a 9/10 game a 10/10, even a couple of different endings would have been brilliant.

I played Episode 1 on the iPad, loved it but would rather play it on the PC in future as the controls, even though so simple, are infuriating on the iPad.

I saw it on Steam for £10 the other day, is there anywhere cheap to get it now as Steam has gone back up

Theres two versions of the pref.prop file on your pc.
One in your steam folder the other in your users/games/telltalegames folder. Use the search function to locate 'em. Back them bothup and try swaping them from one folder to the other.

I've only just fired this up tonight after getting it cheap the other day from Amazon. Not sure whether i'm playing a game or watching anime yet but it's oddly relaxing.

I think if telltale didn't release the game in episodes they would have had a lot more time to make choices matter and having who you wanted in the finale, shame really but still my goty
