The Walking Dead thread

One episode so presumably can be played in a couple of hours. This game was best played back to back i feel so a single episode length content probably isn't going to feel the same.

Just finished it, really enjoyed it to be honest! We all knew it was going to be short, Telltale have told us from the start it would only last about an hour and a half or so!

Do not read the following if you haven't completed it!

So who did you get to follow Tavia? I got Wyatt and Bonnie, all the rest chose to stay behind at their camp.

Yeah it was about the length of 1 of the old episodes, but 5 mini stories. I enjoyed it, wonder if it will set up season 2 of the main game?

Had Vince, Wyatt and Bonnie

Guys, would be good if you could also type *Spoilers*, since the tags do not appear in email alerts so I've just read some of the ending on robmol's post :(

I will unsubscribe from this thread for now to be safe!

Well that was a bit disappointing, didn't expect to finish it so quickly :(

*spoiler*
Just Vince opted to stay behind, a bit silly that one person would stay alone though :p

I know it was just one "episodes" worth, but it felt really short. Also each chapter went past so quickly that it felt hard to get emotionally connected to the characters.

Everybody chose to go, except for Shel and her sister.

Can't remember the outcome of mine but I didn't care much either :o
I finished it in an hour and a half and it was good to witness some nicely laid out storylines. It'll be interesting to see how it affects the upcoming release.

I'd say it's lucky to be an hour of gameplay, not sure how you're getting an extra half hour out of them.

The first mini episode is about 5 minutes.

im having game breaking issues with the dlc

The characters are not placed correctly, their heads seem to stretch out, they aint sitting down e.g they are in a sitting position but not on the seat. ill get some pics

Personally? I loved it, I loved the whole first season and I loved this. Even though for £3.99 it's quite short, I wouldn't want to miss out on any story possible for this game.

Spoilers below.

Only Russell stayed behind at the camp for me

As I didn't want to read ANY reviews to avoid spoilers I have to say I am disappointed with 400 Days.

The game is far too short to have any impact and to build emotional bonds with characters which is what TWD did very well.

I didn't see any relation to the first season story. If people can wait then they should pick it up when cheaper as an hour gameplay for £4 is poor value for money unless you're a die hard fan!

I feel cheated by this game like it was some kind of tech demo, so much so in order to get some compensation I won't blame people if they pirate Season 2.

Telltale have just cashed in on TWD.

There is at least one connection to the first season.
Some of the people at the diner are members of Vernons cancer survivor group that were hiding from Crawford. One of them even mentions how the group fell apart after they stole a boat (from Lee's group)

That was the only reference I could find though on my first playthrough.

You must have missed the other one at the start of Russell's chapter :)

Choosing to hide puts you on the ground next to a corpse that looks an awful lot like Lily...
