The Walking Dead thread

Im just playing episode 1 of season 1 but after 1.8hrs im finding it boring? Not sure if its worth carrying on/ gonna be more of the same.

There isnt much actual game-play just choosing how to interact with people and making decision and it plays out as a modestly interactive movie?
 
loved this my pertinent choices were as follows :p

1. I threw the rock to distract the guys from Christa
2. I put the dog out of its misery
3. i gave the dying guy some water
4. Accepted nicks apology
5. i chose nick at the end for the simple reason that the older guy got bitten so i figured hes a goner anyway

There were also some nice touches from your playthrough of 400 days, heres a few i spotted

The place at the start of the game with Omid and Christa is the Diner from 400 days

Near the end when you get to the river with Nick and Pete and your inspecting the bodies once group of corpses is the guys who attacked you and christa, the other bodies are the survivors from 400 days (note the guy in the black leather jacket who was one of the main characters in 400 days).

I can't help but feel it was more linear, less choices to be made, less moving around and exploring to do.

For the most part it felt like watching a tv program that wanted you to get up and click something on the remote occasionally, whereas there was more interaction and choices in the first season.

Do we know what the release schedule is for each episode?

Its probably going to be a bit sketchy unless you have a superb set of memory skills to keep track of all these franchises. Personally, i was starting to lose a little interest with all the delays to the episodes in the first season.

That said, i enjoyed the first episode in season 2 but it was nothing like i was expecting. Its just brutal :eek:

Game of thrones and a Borderlands game so they will certainly have a busy year :)

Haven't finished season 1 of the walking dead yet but I preferred the wolf is among us more myself, waiting for the second episode of that to come out.
 
Seems I need to replay season 1 first, since I've lost my save file! How important are the choices made in season 1 regarding the story now?

The trailer for A House Divided will be out tonight along with a new episode of Playing Dead
Telltale say we should be able to download it "Early March" The current speculated date is March 4th so not long to wait now :D

Forgot I had this installed actually. Got about and hour or so into Ep1 then just...forgot. Needs finished!
