The Walking Dead thread

I think this game is decidedly average so far; don't really like the art direction, poor textures, poor script, characters I'm yet to start caring for, not scary, no decent set pieces, bad controls....

Hopefully it'll pick up in the next part.

I liked it but whether you'll like it depends on how you feel about point and click adventures with a lot of QTE's. The story is interesting though.

Although they seem to be struggling to get the episodes out at a decent rate so I would avoid the season pass.

Might wait until they have them all out, can then pick them up as a giant package :)

It's 2 months late and they havn't even released some kind of statement as to what's going on, the forum is just full of rage at the moment! I didn't pay for them all up front but a lot did when it was advertised as 'monthly', now they've changed the description :rolleyes:. I think the estimate is 'late june'.

Bit annoyed that Xbox gets it first, no doubt struck some kind of deal with the greedy buggers at Microsoft there. At least we've finally got dates now though, looking forward to friday! :D

Surely people should be allowed a refund?! They bought it as a monthly releas and now it isn't. I almost bought it but was put off by the monthly releas and so glad I didn't now!
 
Any idea if the 3rd+ episodes are likely to be delayed as well?

Had a crack at the first one and really enjoyed it, so thinking of just nabbing the season pass.
 
Just finished Ep 2, probably not as good as the first and didn't feel as long for some reason. Storyline was kinda weird but believable as you play it. Pretty much just more of the same. Spoiler question below though for others that have played through..

How did the crazy woman get Clementine's hat? The Motel was locked up and she was just watching her from afar.
 
Yeah I wondered that too Viper, either I missed something or it wasnt explained at all. They certainly know how to get you hooked though, as with the first episode I could'nt put it down it's fantastic. Hopefully they're back on track with the monthly thing, I can't wait for ep3!
 
Just finished Episode 2, loved it! Much better than the first episode I thought, can't wait for episode 3, any news on when that will be out?
 
Wow this game is excellent! It`s like a mixture of The Walking Dead series and The Road. I love the series and the game is in the same universe but with different characters. Also it`s an adventure game not an fps that may put some people off but I think this suits the game much better.

Episode 1 I thought was very good but they managed to top that with Episode 2. Truly amazing experience with some of the creepiest stuff I`ve seen in a game recently...

Can`t wait for Episode 3!
 
Just started laying and i realy liked it. Didn't know any spoilers before hand but i have watched the TV show.

My results showed that i picked the less popular decision every time! :D
 
Absolutely love this game, it's like an interactive film. Wish the new episodes would come out quicker though but it's definitely worth waiting for.
 
Fantastic little title this!

Never played a point n click before so I took the plunge purely based on my love for the comics and TV series.

Didn't regret my purchase at all, I was gripped from the get go!
