You know how this works, you post stuff that you'd love to own but can't due to finance / non-understanding woman / moneypit / whatever.

So Mondeos and 3 series need not apply. The only other rule is that the car must actually be for sale, so no poster children!

If you want, you can also add why you want this car.

My mom used to drive me to school and back in one of these. Not a Mexico, just a standard 1.6 and I never appreciated the car at the time. When something like this pops up, I remember the good old days, and I'd love to own one of these!
 
The Viper is a bit lairy from what I gather...having said that I edited my post to include a second option which contradicts my lairy comment. I'll stick with my answer though :p

So an E30 M3 need not apply? What about an E36 M3 Evo Convertible?

I'd take either over a any Escort.

Oh for goodness sake his point was obvious, he just means special things not 320d's and Mondeo LX's, thats all. It's obvious to everyone, including you, what he meant. You are an intelligent guy so I can only assume you are being deliberately obtuse.

This must be what people thought of my posts years ago as it's the sort of smartass rubbish I used to pride myself with.. Cringe.

That 8 series is lovely too. I'd happily buy one but I suspect that it could throw some serious bills.
