The Witcher 2 or 1

Both are fantastic, but you need to have open and attentive mind. If you cannot get immersed into it, pay attention to story and dialogues, you will not be able to enjoy it. This is not mindless shooter.

First game is mouse and keyboard over the shoulder, second game supports gamepad and plays well with both mouse and keyboard or gamepad.

Playing the second with the pad so I can relax and play on the big screen. I am a completionist and that in it's self is sometimes a problem in games like this. I will purposely put off the story to complete ALL side missions and this can end up me going off for hours on end which makes me forget why I left off etc etc. How well does the game do the secondary quests?
