Agreed, but with the change of engine, probably a good thing to have a clean slate. Hopefully they don't rush this game out after CP2077.

apparently they have been testing it on consoles early on in its development to avoid another disaster
Something off about the rendering, but can't quite put my finger on it.
Tbh the trailer felt underwhelming in general, I was expecting some goosebumps or excitement but instead I'm indifferent towards what they've shown. Think it's a big mistake for them to focus on Ciri instead of going for make-your-own Witcher, going back in time. I would have more faith in CDPR if only they hadn't descended into mediocrity with Phantom Liberity learning all the wrong lessons, but alas, I do wonder if this isn't the beginning of their downfall as well. Too early to really say, but all in all the trailer left me feeling just 'meh'.

Ok that looks great, i think this will be the game to get me to buy a pc again. I currently have a macbook and a ps5 so i'm well out of the loop with pc components.
I would spend 1k (not incl monitor), is that enough to get something decent these days?

Should get something half decent but for this game not knowing minimum specs it's hard to say personally a game like witcher it's probably more enjoyable on a settee anyway
Agree, pc + settee will be more enjoyable than console.
More than enough but keep in mind this game's at least 2 years out.

It'll be interesting to see the explanation of how she seems to be a full Witcher now, as she's very old to have gone through the Trial of the Grasses - and she seems to have lost (or not used) her Elder Blood abilities.
Love the Witcher, and hopefully Geralt will still be involved in some respects.

Just chucking it out there, but I'm not convinced Ciri will be the main protagonist? Yeah she's in the clip, but maybe she's a playable character similar to the way she was in 3.
