The Witcher 4

Just chucking it out there, but I'm not convinced Ciri will be the main protagonist? Yeah she's in the clip, but maybe she's a playable character similar to the way she was in 3.
What if they go GTA5 route and have a few main protagonists that we switch between?
Geralt is not a main Witcher in 4, this is pretty much confirmed, and now we know it will be Ciri.

I too would have preferred a "make your own Witcher" type game, but I'm sure it will still be good playing as Ciri.

I do think it's always nice to have a choice in the gender of your character for RPG games as it helps immersion.

Some of the comments online are hilarious though. People complaining about how she looks..? She looks like an older version of the Witcher 3 character which is....pretty much what you'd expect.

Pretty sure they only said that Geralts story is generally over, there was always the plan to tell a new Witcher story.
Yeah they said a good while ago there'd be more in the Witcher world but Geralt has had his day.

Probably not a bad idea, you don't want the games to be the equivalent of ditching Henry in the series.

I hope all the people (white middle aged men/boys) who complain that they made something a " beautiful female" instead of a muscular bloke and added some "lesbian" into it.. apply the same stringent criteria to the pr0n they watch!!! ;)

Really hope they do a good job, I'd like to think CDPR have learned a lot from Cyberpunk which had an awful release (but was, in the end, a fantastic game). Loved the trailer though.

its a trailer that was rendered using the game engine - this isn't the actual game
I'm not claiming that this trailer is the final game for Witcher 4, just that CDPR have shown in game footage at trade shows in the past for Witcher 3, strongly suggesting that they will be in the final product, only to then remove most of the next gen stuff in the name of 'optimization' when really they didn't want the PC release to cannibalise console sales.

They do make a great trailer. I can't wait for the game. Impressive that they've managed this level of detail in Unreal Engine for a cinematic. Really looks excellent compared to traditional 3D workflows, and I bet took a fraction of the time to render.
