hehe thats a good feeling :) or using fast stance and "drawing" a line of blood as you beat a guy so he always stumbles backwards.

some of the stunned finishing moves are lovely as well.

finally got the girl in the green dress. boy was she hard work :mad:
 
I just got to the swamp and the 1st weed thing was way tough, thank god for the pot that slowed down time, only sad point now is ive ran out of swallow pots and am at the very top of the swamp.
 
Dunno if this will help some with loading times and general sluggish performance but try removing or deleting old saves, just keep a few only. If there is some saves you might want to go back to or keep incase things go **** up them move them to another folder somewhere else.

My saves folder was about 1.9gb :eek: The game seems to be a bit smoother now I got rid of all them saves, although it was reasonably okay beforehand. But if you have a PC that is struggling it might help.

Ya I had a thought about that as the loading page was taking longer and longer to generate.

Will deffo give it a go now.

Yeah those weeds are kicking my ass, ran out of potion mats so looks like I need to find a vendor :)
 
Silver sword, strong style, and the fire sign. If you run in with the sword on fast style first you'll get good and close quickly. I think you need to be right on top of it to hit.
 
have just been told by a mate about this and it sounds liek something I would be interested in playing, can anyone give me a rough idea how it will run on my system please? I noticed the sytem requirements are pretty high and dont want to waste my hard earned if its going to run like a bag of snails

specs are

athlon 64x2 3800+
2gb corsair value ram
pny 7600gt
vista ultimate x64

i know it wont run at full whack but will it be playable?

I started playing this morning, looks and runs fantastic (dell 9200, E6600, 8800GT, 4gb ram in vista 64).

I dont know if it auto detects settings or whether it starts out on the highest, but i just left it running at 1920x1200 with full detail and it flies along.

Took a big piccie.

I'm running it on an Opteron 175 with 2gb ram and an 8600GT and it runs fine at 1680 * 1050, I'm tempted to drag my pc into the lounge later and run it through the TV.

cheers, this helped a bit with the loading times. Defragging before playing helps a bit as well :)

Definately a game that needs a lot of RAM.
 
God I i hope I get my back operation in the next 2 weeks so I can spend more time playing this :) Just took some Tramadol's so should be able to put an hour in this afternoon before the pain gets too much

I tried it on my hdtv - looked great but unfortunately it was too much for my graphics card. (fps takes a pounding). And it doesnt feel right the sound coming from the lappy and the visuals from the tv.

Shame this isnt available on ps3/x360.

I dont know if this is possible (probably not) but it would be pretty cool if you could use both swords at the same time (level 6?)
 
Back at my computer desk after my 5 nights at work. To sum this game up ill do a list.

1) Music - Like listening to lord of the rings sound track - Absolutly emersive.
2) Graphics - Very high quility, plenty to stop and look at.
3) Loading times - A bit longer than other games ive played, but who cares when you have stunning pictures to look at and the music to listen to!
4) Story - Solid, no matter how many times i think im gonna muck up the story line, no matter how many times i think some main npc isnt spawning in the right place... im always plesentally surprised how this game surprises me by either being very logical or by the way if plays out the story line.

I have to say i havnt played a game as fun as this since Deux Ex.
