About the Game
From the makers of the 2012 Game of the Year: The Walking Dead, comes a gritty, violent and mature thriller based on the award-winning Fables comic books (DC Comics/Vertigo). As Bigby Wolf - THE big bad wolf - you will discover that a brutal, bloody murder is just a taste of things to come in a game series where your every decision can have enormous consequences.

An evolution of Telltale's ground-breaking choice and consequence game mechanics will ensure the player learns that even as Bigby Wolf, Sheriff of Fabletown, life in the big bad city is bloody, terrifying and dangerous.
Over a season of content spanning across 5 episodes:

Episode 1: Faith
Episode 2: Smoke and Mirrors
Episode 3: A Crooked Mile
Episode 4: In Sheep's Clothing
Episode 5: Cry Wolf

Steam pre-order is up: http://store.steampowered.com/app/250320/

Looks interesting, if it is anywhere near as good as The Walking Dead they have a purchase from me. Anyone know if buying through the Telltale website gives you a Steam key? It just seems to state "Full Season digital download for Mac/PC."

It seems the cheaper way of doing it, according to PayPal it would be £14.39 at the current exchange rate.

So anyone else got this? Totally forgot it was coming out so picked it up today and will get the first chapter done over the weekend. Still have walking dead to finish but im starting over on the pc instead of finishing my ps3 save.

Thanks for reminding me, purchased from the telltale website and it worked out at £14.51 via PayPal. Just hope I get a Steam key.

Is the price on steam now for all the episodes as they come out or purely for Episode One then we have to buy them separate?

I bought all the walking dead after they were all out so no idea how it works :(

The price is for all the episodes, they are just released as The Walking Dead episodes were in a staggered format.

So everytime a new episode is released, the game will update and it will become available to play.

Cheers, shall buy it now :D

Enjoying it so far however it has a strange habit of occasionally what feel like stutters and it's making the time to pick your choices a lot harder.

Even with the stuttering which according to precision is when my card goes from 810mhz up to 3005mhz then back down finished chapter 1.

Enjoyed it and it's set the tone for the next chapters beautifully, actually enjoyed this more then The Walking Dead

Around 2 hours for all of chapter 1, Did reload the last chapter after to pick a different change to get the last book and achievement.

Nice. Just finished playing through chapter one. Enjoyed it. I agree with you, it's better than The Walking Dead. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Not trying to be picky but,

An evolution of Telltale's ground-breaking choice and consequence game mechanics

Ground Breaking? Nothing in TWD felt like you had control over it or consequences, you couldn't effect anything and the story as a whole was extremely linear. That's not to say it isn't good, because it kicks ass. But no, just no lol.

I know it's early days but has anyone got any idea on whether that has changed?

Well... in The Walking Dead, it genuinely FELT like your choices were making real consquences. For the first three or four episodes.

As it neared the finale, that veneer started to fall away. Regardless, it was pretty epic.

I've read that this actually surpasses it in terms of story. In which case, when I'm done flogging some trading cards for Steam Wallet credit, I'm snapping it up.

You could effect quite a lot in TWD by the answers you chose and seeing how characters reacted to them etc. Don't want to go into spoilers and im not saying it was ground breaking but the choices were defo there.
