Yeah the choices were there, but the consequences weren't. If you chose something they liked, they'd give a awkward smile or sneer if they didn't. The worst that happens is somebody doesn't have your back in a time of need, which effects nothing really as Lee can take care of himself. It has the same level of diversity as Mass Effect or Dragon Age, which is great but with the nature of adventure games like these, there doesn't seem to be any reason that they couldn't include 3+ different storylines depending on your choices, completely different areas, hundreds of characters etc.
I'm not hating, I think their games are superb, I just think that with the extreme simplicity to their games mechanics they should start to include tons of different paths that leads to completely different content all the way through their games.
