Cyrix were a bit hit and miss compatibility wise with a lot of stuff to be frank - they did after all basically reverse engineer Intel's work essentially blind not sure can really blame Epic for that one although they weren't unpopular CPUs at the time so wouldn't be completely unreasonable to expect a certain amount of testing on them either.
