nintendo pads always seem like theyre designed for aliens to me

bought a GC recently to play through some classics and the controller layouts apauling. they should have just copied half the layout off sony like MS did

or am i the only one who still calls the buttons on xbox pad x square triangle and circle when describing what button does what


PS pad will always be my favourite. it moulded the shape of my hands during teenage years

thats a bit misleading, its $80 for an extra controller including Wii Motion Plus, on its own Wii motion plus is going to be $20

how can people say the nes pad was the worst. I had a Master System at the time and was really jealous of fact the nes pad had the start and pause button on the pad. The master system decided it was a good idea to have these on the console. Not only that but they put pause and reset next to each other. The amount of times i lent over and accidentally hit the reset button instead of pause when near the end of a game still hurts. In days of no save options, the pause button was used a lot so not putting it on the pad and worst still putting it by a reset button of the same size and shape means ill never forgive Sega.

i remember being desperate for a Jaguar. Thank god i couldn't afford one at the time. Really wanted the 3do at one point too. Was sold hook line and sinker by that cowboy game that was really just a video quick time event. Thank god my parents said no.

That might make it expensive but it doesn't mean its a bad controller

So you adapted to the pad rather than the pad adapting to the times.
